I enjoy the broad range of services that are offered, and that it can be a one stop for business needs. Customer support is also great!

There is a learning curve but overall not bad compared to other programs I've used

Low code no code solutions
The best for quickly develop robust applications when you do not have programming knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple, stable, secure et powerfull database for complex applications with complex use case. I have applications made in... 2000-2005 and they was (or not) updated (very easy) and allways work well today.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no simples install guidelines on minimalistic debian server. But i use it on CentOs (redhat fork) and it works very well.

Security in all functions - built in - not layered.
Portable - Works on all platforms and all devices
Upgrades - server upgrades are short and sweet. In a properly designed environment, can be done in plavce
Granular management - users and applications are easily managed in great detail
Cross platform security function are built in and automatic. Developers can easily implement or modify.
Backward compatable - legacy apps run just like they always did.
Easy to reface / reskin an application(s) or even tale old apps and convert them to modern interfaces
Connectors are available to almost any backend data source
End user interfaces are easy to standardize and manage
Latest versions are updated to use current language toolsets
Compared to other systems, it is really easy to implemt, expand, and administer - low overhead cost

Easy to install. Quick application development. Stability of domino server.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me the biggest problem is that last Notes client in Slovak language is ver.9. And Notes ver. 9 is close to end of support.

Hard to find good backup software for Domino databases.

It works and "nobody" use it

It works well and It gives you more "freedom" to set up than Google or Office 365 or Exchange.
It's convenient to use for "security through obscurity" policies. A small % of companies use more Domino, so nobody develop virus for that platform

Is more complicated to set up than Google or Office 365 or Exchange.
A lot of ERP/CRM/ect... doesn't offer integration with Domnio

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Domino only for email and shared calendar. It confortable to use client (Notes) - Web (Verse) and mobile (Traveler) at the same time, with everything syncronized.

Application development platefom. Open palteform with high security.

Downsides are image of old product and less competitive regarding microsoft solutions
