Next Level Visio

  • June 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This process mapping software is very intuitive. It seems to anticipate what I want to do next, and then do it, correctly. It's much faster to create process maps in here vs. Visio. The AI features speed up process mapping even more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know yet, so far it's great for process mapping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process maps are required for regulatory compliance. Lucid allows me to create these quickly and easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Ready-to-use templates and icons: These make it incredibly easy to jump into diagramming, brainstorming, or mapping out workflows without starting from scratch.
Real-time collaboration: Multiple users can work on the same document simultaneously, making it ideal for remote teams.
Cross-platform integration: Lucid integrates well with tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Atlassian, streamlining workflows.
Versatility: Whether you're creating flowcharts, mind maps, org charts, or wireframes, Lucid adapts to a wide range of use cases.
Clean, modern UI: The interface is user-friendly and doesn’t overwhelm new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing: Some users feel that the cost can be high, especially for smaller teams or individual users who need premium features.
Performance with large diagrams: Complex or large-scale diagrams can sometimes cause lag or slow performance.
Limited offline functionality: Lucid is primarily cloud-based, so working offline is not as seamless.
Learning curve for advanced features: While basic use is easy, mastering more advanced tools and integrations can take time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized Knowledge Sharing: Lucid makes it easy to visually document processes, systems, and ideas in a way that’s accessible to everyone. This reduces silos and ensures that team members can quickly get up to speed.

Dynamic Whiteboarding: Whether you're brainstorming, mapping out user journeys, or planning sprints, Lucid’s whiteboarding tools provide a flexible canvas for creative collaboration.

Cross-functional Collaboration: It bridges communication gaps between technical and non-technical teams by offering a shared visual language.

Remote Team Enablement: With real-time collaboration and cloud access, Lucid supports distributed teams working across time zones.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to add shapes and arrows when utilizing project creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
adding my personal pictures to projects was a bit difficult, as sometimes I could not get it to the size I wanted, or could not erase some of the pic, as I would only want a certain part of the pic. Not a huge deal, but maybe we can have a way to edit and cut images a specific way from the Lucid program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to better visualize the scope of work that is needed. This allows all departments to clearly see what work and materials are needed to ensure successful completion.

What do you like best about the product?
Our company uses Lucid to create process flow diagrams, and it’s been a great tool for collaboration. It helps streamline teamwork and consistently delivers high-quality visuals that enhance our documentation
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Lucid to be difficult to use. The interface isn’t very intuitive, and the instructions provided weren’t clear enough to guide me through the process. A more user-friendly experience and clearer guidance would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
including flow diagrams in SOPs

  • June 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
A lot of different tools to use, I can really go in depth and create something meticulously given the time
What do you dislike about the product?
it felt a little overwhelming to me to use, not as intuitive as something like miro that just has a clean interface. Although it's more robust, it's harder as a new user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming user journey flows, architecture plans, conducting interviews. a place where we can store and share diagrams for all of checkr
