Versatile, Aesthetic and Easy for Academic Projects

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite incredibly helpful for my school work, especially for my bachelor thesis. It makes it easy to show my process with clear visual diagrams instead of writing everything out. I really like how much better it looks compared to, say, a Word table. It's more structured and aesthetically pleasing. The best part for me is the diversity of what I can create. There are so many different templates, and they make my school work more efficient and fun. All the templates are user-friendly, and the initial setup was very easy and user-friendly too. I've been satisfied using Lucid as it’s the first product of its kind I tried, and I even rated it a 10 out of 10 for recommending to peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI typing thing where I write what I want or am visualizing and then the AI tries to give me what I'm explaining has not worked out for me. It does not understand well enough what I am trying to create. I tried to give it a prompt a few times, and the challenge is that I ask for a bit more harder to do tasks, or like what I find hard to make or time-consuming to do is what I want it to do for me. But it only gives me very simple charts or tables that I could easily do myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes illustrating my bachelor thesis process easy with clear, aesthetic diagrams. It offers diverse templates, making my work efficient and fun.

Users can start creating diagrams almost immediately without heavy onboarding or technical setup.Customer support is generally helpful and responsive, though response times may vary during peak hours.I use this tool frequently for brainstorming, process mapping, and collaboration sessions. It’s especially useful for both quick ideation and detailed workflows.

Some advanced features come with a learning curve, and certain functionalities are only available in higher-tier plans.
