Lucidchart’s Intuitive Workspace, Multiple Templates and Design Layout Customization are Fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart allows me to create diagrams easily using the available quickly editable templates and I like that several collaborators can edit a diagram at the same time which supports efficient collaboration on diagramming tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no function in Lucidchart that I think could be improved at this time since I find it really reliable for diagramming purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart supports the creation of Data Flow Diagrams that provide the complete visibility into how data moves through our database that strengthens data governance by documenting every transformation.

Cowabanga to this avante grande masterpiece with expendable templates that are customizable to ,meet my workflows needs,i hail it for making it for cross departmental collaboration with no much effort required.I love it for efficiency with task prioritization to ensure we are able to complete project needs on time.Kudos to the mind maps that makes brainstorming not only fun but impeccable for bringing ideas to Life.

The huge variety of shapes, arrows, connectors and customization options offered by Lucidchart enables me to create diagrams that are visually appealing, professional for presentation and tailored to my specific needs and preferences.

Lucidchart is easy to use with a simpler user environment that allows creation of any diagram design without any issue or complications.

Lucidchart helps create customer journey map diagrams that illustrate timeline stages that represent key phases of the client experience which helps standardize engagement across accounts.

It’s intuitive, supports real-time collaboration, and is browser-friendly, which makes it easy for the team to visualize ideas and work together.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s expensive, and a lot of features are hidden behind different plans. Performance can lag at times, and there’s also a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating visualizations with the drag-and-drop features is really good. It enables fast visual building, and there are multiple formatting options to help fine-tune the result.

Effortless Salesforce ERD Imports

I am always accidentally dropping arrows everywhere but I am also a fairly new user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making ERDs is SO much easier than other whiteboarding tools. Organization in LUCID is also great.
AI-Powered Efficiency, Slight Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
One feature I found particularly useful was the AI-assisted diagram generation. I used it to develop current-state and proposed-state recruitment process flowcharts by describing the process in prompt form, and it generated an initial process map that gave me a strong starting point with only moderate refinement required. That was especially helpful for translating a complex, multi-step workflow with decision points into a visual format efficiently.
I also appreciated the platform’s automatic formatting and connector logic (including shape alignment, connectors, and rules), which made it much easier to build and adjust process maps without manually formatting every relationship.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was some learning curve, particularly around formatting controls, auto-snap/grid features, and understanding how to use some of the tools as efficiently as possible. At times, the automatic alignment features were a bit rigid when making manual layout adjustments. For first-time users, a more guided onboarding tutorial or interactive walkthrough would be helpful to surface key features and reduce trial-and-error early on.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps solve the challenge of translating complex, multi-step processes into clear and structured visual workflows. I used it to map both current-state and proposed-state recruitment processes, including approvals, decision points, and handoffs, which would have been much more cumbersome to organize manually.
The AI tool helped generate an initial framework from my instructions, reducing manual effort and accelerating development of the diagrams. Beyond efficiency, the tool helped improve clarity, surface process gaps, and support stakeholder discussions by presenting process design issues and proposed improvements in a more accessible visual format.

It monumental with plethora of templates all customizable and adaptable to meet my process mapping and Org charts needs.I love it for Slack intergrations for efficient team discussions.Clean and solid interface for ease of use.Extraordinaiire tool with extra of shapes and library of visualization tools I love it for efficient whiteboards that makes remote brainstorming efficient.

Yes i do it for plethora of templates that makes it efficient for digramming to seamless explain all the processes in a way that everyone can understand.Inexplicable with project collaboration.Cost effective solutioj to use and moreso astounding with team discussion,all credits to Slack intergration.Exceptional customer support which is very keen to help.
Powerful visualization features, but the UI feels crowded and pricing is steep
What do you like best about the product?
I can now talk to an AI assistant within Lucidspark to draft entire brainstorming boards or organize 100+ sticky notes into logical themes in seconds. It’s not just drawing; it’s visualization. You can link a diagram to a live Excel or Salesforce sheet, and the shapes will literally change color or status based on your data updates. Accelerators (specialized templates and guides) for things like "Cloud Transformation" or "Process Improvement." These make it much easier for a new team to provide value on Day 1. The tiered pricing can feel a bit steep for very small startups like ours. The drag-and-drop mechanics feel snappy, and the "Universal Canvas" means you aren't fighting different UI languages when switching tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI feels crowded, the UML shape libraries aren't 100% compatible with standard syntax, requiring manual "workarounds" that defeat the purpose of an automated tool. Large, data-linked documents can take 30+ seconds to fully become interactive. The free tier’s 60-object limit is essentially a "demo mode." The AI is great at creating from scratch, but it's much worse at editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is essentially the bridge between messy thinking and structured execution. For me, it is acting as your AI collaborator, that solves the problem of translation. It takes your abstract ideas and gives them a skeleton that both humans and machines can understand.
