    Phil R.

Lucid Chart - Agile mapping for team task distribution

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the different mapping features, particularly the smart containers and their ability to import data via CSV
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be helpful to have better onboarding for tools, such as the smart container. I had to do several google searches to figure out how to use it. Would have been nice to have build in live simulations of how to use it within the windows browser tab.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to figure out what month-end tasks need to go to GL team vs. controlling, and on what business days.

it's very intuitive, and the visual is appealing
What do you dislike about the product?
that I have to upload my data, it does not talk to my HRIS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
my HRIS does not produce an org chart with color coding and Lucid does it for me

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed how intuitive the GUI is. It was easy to understand, and I enjoy how many customization options are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't enjoy using a web version all the time. I would like to have an app that I can download and work offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a technical perspective, it is easy to create visualizations that are easy to understand so that the other non-technical teams will be able to digest what project I'm busy on.

What do you like best about the product?

The text edits do not get applied properly and lot of time goes in to readjust the font and style
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great tool for collaboration and brainstorming the ideas, planning, designing and building the tools.

Easy to use software for beautiful diagrams

  • April 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the built-in images for cloud resources and configurability of text and grouping
What do you dislike about the product?
Connecting some images with arrows can be very frustrating and occasionally look odd with white space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Explaining application architecture is a communication problem and that images can simplify. You can explain an application in minutes with a diagram that could never be fully understood without one.
