Created a Website Site Map and Work Plan In A Fraction of the Time
What do you like best about the product?
An easy to navigate and understand interface with elements that can be adapted on the fly as ideas are generated or refined. It allowed me to communicate intent with my less tech-savvy bosses easily, and in a way that didn't require knowledge of coding for them to understand. I also ended up using it as a framework to consider or reject various templates for the website before letting what we could find limit our desires. It was also fantastic to be able to use custom colours to really tailor the design to our needs, using colours similar to our brand colours to further refine the look of our eventual website.
What do you dislike about the product?
The elements displaying how to use the sheet count as elements in the sheet, limiting the number of objects I can place. Once I realized what was happening and deleted them, I was fine, but it seems an odd choice. I know I'm only using the trial/free version, and there are some elements that may be better, or more refined if I was using the for-pay version I understand.
I would also love if there was a hex code colour generator for the custom colours, so we could exactly nail our brand colours instead of approximations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were creating a website mock-up to organize our ideas in advance of creating a new website for our business. Using Lucidspark made it much easier to share ideas than using notes on paper and hoping everyone got the same idea from a doodle.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with it first; A lot of what you need can be made with a bit of trial and error. Also, make sure you go in with an organized idea of what you want, because it's a seemingly infinite whiteboard, and you may end up with pages or document elements all over the place!
New experience with Lucidspark
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to handle, also for not-so-talented students.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not that fast to understand all possibilities. So try and discover the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with different schools from different countries. With Lucidspark, we are all informed what to do.
Great for collaborative brainstorming and idea evolution
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is intuitive, and fluid even on some older machines. The important thing to the team I work with on it is that we are easily able to follow the others around as they talk through their thought process and link ideas together. Being able to lock onto your collaborator's view is very handy for this.
What do you dislike about the product?
A dark theme would be useful for late nights! Perhaps Discord integration or Slack if the more professional client would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get collaborative brainstorming in a session that is saved and we usually expand upon later. It's usually very handly to have this while we work on storyboarding and piecing together the narrative and features for the game we're making together as a small indie group.
Best for every level and every need
What do you like best about the product?
Friendly UI and very easy to understand.
Workshops + resources available from the company to use more tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am happy so far with the service provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves a lot of time when I do process mapping for my organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lucidparks is great and easy to use for all business use.
Very intuitive and user friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is really pleasant, and the system is stable. I like how quick I can create diagrams with Lucidspark, and how great they look! The great number of shapes available is certainly a plus. I am a big fan of all the download options (in terms of formats available). The fact that the drawing board automatically extends is also great, especially when you compare with what happens when using other software. Honestly there's so many options that I couldn't explore them all yet! For example, the sharing options are great (and they even include an "embed feature"), but I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the individual subscription a little expensive. I'd also like more options in terms of fonts, but the ones I see might be limited as I am currently using the free version of the software. Sometimes, the text doesn't quite fit into the shapes and the options to improve how it looks are limited, except from increasing the size of the shape. Increased options/controls regarding the format of the shapes and of the text inside them would be really useful.
Apart from that, all is great!
Apart from that, all is great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I tested it for online meetings interactivity as well as to build diagrams. In particular, I was able to build a couple of PFD diagrams in just a few minutes - that would have taken me hours with another piece of software! I am amazed at how Lucidspark allows the quick creation of visualizations.
Helpful tool while working from home
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to be able to see live adjustments and comments while working with colleagues, especially during brainstorm sessions. The fact that this tool is available as in-browser was very helpful for a quick, last-minute organized session with our team. Everyone was able to join and figure the tool out right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since my team and I only started using this tool very recently, we did not run into any downsides yet. Perhaps the 25mb storage that is available being a 'free' user and the limited options for teamwork? An upgrade is easy and possible, but might not fit into the budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online brainstorm sessions are made easy with this tool - I prefer this over calls via Zoom/Teams with live screen sharing. We figured it brought more creative input to our sessions, compared to other options while working from home. This tool makes it easy for all invited colleagues to give input and think along, which is not always the case with our previous options (screenshare, zoom, teams, online documents etc).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a try, especially when you're looking for a (free) tool to boost creative input of multiple colleagues during a brainstorm session. Even the free version offers different convenient options to your benefits and from our experience, most team members were able to log-in, join and get to work right away. We have also used this alongside Zoom/Teams calls.
Fantastic Software for Diagrams!
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and provides more options and control than PowerPoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything I dislike yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Lucidchart to create visual diagrams showing the interconnections of our projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
none
Easy and intuitive, but potential for integration has limits
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to achieve a functional understanding in a single session.
What do you dislike about the product?
Attempting to integrate what I created into a shareable format that retains image integrity. This is more a casualty of not having established collaboration practices rather than a failure by Lucidchart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping process and flow within my company
Helpful tool for virtual whiteboards during Covid
What do you like best about the product?
Ability for team to collaborate virtually when working from home during Covid. Great tool that's really helped our team
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tools are difficult to understand at first eg dragging and dropping content within boxes etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workshops and sprints virtually during Covid and working remotely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's great videos on YouTube
Excellent program
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of templates available, ease of use and ability to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user It's a bit of a challenging process. There are many tools and tips so this isn't a dig on the program, just a lack of understanding on my part. As I become more familiar it becomes a lot easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating a new computer program to be used by our organization. The flow charts have been amazing in documenting our process flows and creating our user stories.
