Amazing tool to design yout project process and technical designs and architecture
What do you like best about the product?
UI, and user-friendly interface, and a lot of options to choose from. It helped me to design a process model of a requirement that I had. The tool was user-friendly and very easy to use. Export and Import options are really cool to use. I was able to export in PDF format and many more export options were available. I also directly presented the process chart from the applications themselves. I like sharing and teamwork options. I was able to share the application with my team members and give me some feedback and comments. Everything was real-time, which I like the most with this application. Overall it's a tool that I can recommend to everyone who works on difficult process models and technical architect or solution architect roles. It would suit much better for the environment and company.
What do you dislike about the product?
All good. Add some integrations of other applications would be great. Everything is great. I really don't dislike anything about this tool. So I would say there are no features that I dislike with lucidpark. I would wish to get more applications and UIs integrated with this application to enable users to have information flowing down from other applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Technical Architecture and Process model. I was able to easily design and execute the designs that I had in my mind. It is easy to design some complicated models, flowcharts, and process maps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great platform. Use teamwork. It's quite an amazing feature
Useful for collaboration online
What do you like best about the product?
It helps our team to work at distance while we are unable to work in person. If it were not for a service such as this we would struggle to brainstorm ideas as we work to interpret data. Especially early on in the process when we would usually use a white board, now we use this service. I also appreciate how I am able to use different colors and shapes to describe the data. It is similar to how I use different colors of pens and paper to sort my ideas by hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes displaying data on a screen in a collaborative way is more difficult than working with a physical white board in person. In general, for me I am more of an in person, tactile worker, so using online platforms is generally not my preference. However, that said, a service such as this one helps to meet this need in some ways. That is to say, it imitates using a physical white board or pen and paper for brainstorming ideas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have worked together to help code qualitative interviews. It helps to brainstorm the initial interpretation of data. Our team also uses it during virtual meetings to help sort the flow or concepts of the data we are working with. Or sometimes to help figure out the direction for a report or paper that we are planning. We also use it to figure out the direction of a program we are planning, the logic and steps involved with the planned program content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a useful platform for helping teams to work together online. It helps to fill the gap that we experience from the remote working world.
Virtual Standup Board Adds Value for Remote Work
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ease of use, simple interface and flexible options for creating boards to meet different business unit needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all at this time based on my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a virtual board to monitor projects managed by various team members and can organize work in the various pipeline stages. This supports a twice weekly virtual standup with other company team members. It helps to enable collaboration, aligning priorities and transparency on backlog items.
Collaborative Tool
What do you like best about the product?
So Many Options to choose from and wide variety of controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Layout is a bit confusing. User Interface could be more interactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Modelling and Data flow diagrams
Really helped my team create the perfect mind map!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can ideate and create in real-time, and truly see how our ideas connect.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to best figure out overlaying ideas to see how well they fit with each other. I'm unclear if this feature is actually offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on a framework for a city-wide campaign. LucidSpark helps connect all the dots.
Great platform for mass collaboration and idea sketching
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create, resize, connect ideas together and collaborate in real time really draws the line between using LucidSpark and other platforms such as Google Drawing. LucidSpark's fast server response times allow for quick collaboration. I also enjoy the fact that users export the resulting project as a pdf of vector image (no blurry objects). This allows for an expansive mindmap that is easily enjoyable by both users and also readers. My team and I also enjoy using LucidSpark's "snap on" features with certain objects as well as locking allowing for designing tasks to easily be overcome.
What do you dislike about the product?
LucidSpark does at time lag when big projects load, which is reasonable. However, to improve user experience with LucidSpark, this problem should be easily fixed. As a new user to LucidSpark, I would also value the ability to "rebind" my keys which allow me to adapt to the platform to much stronger degree since I am effectively "lowering" the skill curve needed to transition from another platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company values customer insights and the ability to mindmap them / organize them on a platform is extremely important to ensure that we maintain the standards and solve problems that clients are expecting. The ability to see real time and have all the different objects that you can create (sticky notes, arrows ... etc.), allows for many creative and insightful ways to organize the information to then further analyze and pull those insights. This adds much value to my company and a direct benefit that was derived from using LucidSpark.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely experiment around a bit before demonstrating it to your team. This will allow you to guide them to complete the tasks that you require of them. In doing so, you really are creating value through using the platform.
User friendly and professional presentation
What do you like best about the product?
I like all the fun, organized features to put your thoughts in order
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations when using the free plan that I would love to try out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving a quick and easy way for my team of teachers to collaborate together. I have realized the benefit of sharing the same screen when in different locations.
Very nice tool for comp sci state diagram etc
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and easy access. intuitive ui etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service is very nice however more templates could be used in order to help with quicker work completion especially in common cases such as different state diagrams
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier program planning and higher quality execution. It actually makes planning software development easy
Great brainstorming tool - but LucidChart checks most of the boxes for me.
What do you like best about the product?
It's great for brainstorming sessions; the team collaboration works really well. I also like the infinite canvas. I like the tagging feature, which is one thing that I could NOT do in Lucidchart. I like that there are so many options for shapes and colors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I feel that there's not a lot of value added if you already use Lucidchart, which seems to have more options and functionality. A few features that especially stand out here that I wish Lucidspark had...
- Needs more hotkeys for faster node creation (like the mind mapping feature in LucidChart)
- Reorganize by hierarchy
- Multiple pages

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great way to organize thoughts, brainstorm, think through problems. Some people think in excel sheets, some in paragraphs/prose, some in pictures. I personally think mind maps are the best way to corral scattered thoughts, jump around between ideas, and work on multiple problems at the same time. It's also a good way to represent that thinking for other people (especially if you reorganize it a little bit :)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't think it would be worth it to pay for subscriptions to BOTH Lucidchart and Lucidspark. I don't well enough understand the difference between the two, to be honest. It seems Lucidchart has almost everything I need, though the tagging & commenting features in Spark are especially nice for categorizing ideas and getting feedback.
The team collaboration and organization of the program reflected positively in my experience.
What do you like best about the product?
The team collaboration, organization, and assistance in displaying my project plans are good qualities in the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to use a business email since small businesses just starting may not get the opportunity of Lucidspark. It’s hard to share photos on the website which would really help explain things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for projects when I work with my students or coworkers. Before, we had to communicate without being able to see what each other was talking about. This really helped me draw out any ideas I had and the other people could see it easily. This is really one of the greatest benefits.
