Fantastic Collaboration with Lucidspark
What do you like best about the product?
Synchronous collaboration between colleagues
What do you dislike about the product?
It took awhile to figure out the controls
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a large committee, broken up into various working groups - this allows us all to (virtually) examine a problem, share ideas, and present out findings intuitively.
Daniel Balcarcel
What do you like best about the product?
the way to easily share boards and work as a team
What do you dislike about the product?
that it lacks detail to edit the cards and be able to join them with those responsible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
He resolved the work remotely and managed to get us all to work cooperatively.
Ready to go.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use tool. No training is required.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little lag in drag and drop, but it won't effect your design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating wireframes and class diagram.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
The interaction with other software - especially documentation software.
What do you dislike about the product?
New user, therefore, I have not come across any dislikes so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation and repository management - including designing workflows.
A program I wish I knew about sooner
What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive and has a lot of template. I like the ease of moving parts of your data around as well as being able to flatten layers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like The limited amount of templates with free (3 boards I believe) and the ones I needed to use were premium.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used the free trial but I would like to be able to continue using it but it’s not covered by the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take full advantage of the free trial
A lot of teams I'm on will use it once and never again.
What do you like best about the product?
The performance, responsiveness, and realtime collaboration. It is surprising how well it works, and how fluid the experience is. The number of different ways to put thoughts down on the board seemed very promising as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't seem to to actually help me or my teams very much. We weren't sure how to use the tool to actually solve any problems, or what types of problems we could solve. We were pressured to use the tool by a higher up that had paid for it, but we failed to find any value in the tool after several hours and different collaboration sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None, at least in the several times I've used it so far. It seems to be ok in conjunction with Zoom or other video chat, but it doesn't seem to guide collaboration on its own. I would have liked to see a more guided experience, or more templates geared towards the problem we were trying to solve, or at least some indication of the type of problem we could solve with the tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to decide exactly what problem you are trying to solve by using LucidSpark, and then evaluate if it did so. I get the feeling a lot of people are like me and used this tool because they were required to without actually finding any value in doing so.
Great Organizing and Presentation Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are so many options for formatting and charts that make it so you can really plan or present any kind of project or ideas!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was a bit easier to navigate around the chart without accidentally editing something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have made a yearly plan and used onboarding timelines to plan for and schedule progress updates to share with my boss.
I enjoyed using Lucidspark and it was very effective for what I needed
What do you like best about the product?
The UI and tools available plus the examples of templates to work from
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitation of the trial version features and tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has helped me fully understand and showcase the workflow desired for a product process flow
LucidSpark hits the mark for a virtual whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
What I like
• Easy to move to around the canvas for diagraming
• Auto-creation of basic shapes if desired
• Easy to connect lines/arrows from shape to shape with the exception below
• Grid to assist in drawing
• Presentation feature is easy to use and helpful if you have created a whiteboard ahead of time and would like to present different created views

What do you dislike about the product?
What I don’t like
• Having to use the mouse to capture multiple objects for deletion/move/copy. Pen is not supported to do this that I can see.
• Having to select “line” every time I want to connect one object to another. I end up connecting the objects myself just as I would on a whiteboard so in a way, that’s OK. It just looks cleaner using the arrow function.
• Can’t use the “eraser” on the Microsoft pen. Need to select ”eraser” from the menu

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Need a virtual whiteboard for customer presentations
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Determine the use case and test with that in mind. LucidSpark has some nice features but I don't need all of them. I wasn't thrilled with some of the implementations of some features, however, my use case is for whiteboarding our solutoin to our customers. It works fine for this purpose.
For tech leaders or architects its the best tool to prototype diagrams, document software and flows
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to get familiar to, and useful, you really find very quick the tools, images, icons, you need for your diagrams.
The first time I used it, was to present a prototype of a new software, didn't have too much time, was a meeting unscheduled, but the amazing thing is that lucid spark did the job.
Since there, it's been my best friend to create diagrams very fast, and now my software is a little more documented and easy to get involved.
Another thing I like is the integration with third party apps, (slack, word, google drive etc) it is amazing !

What do you dislike about the product?
The web application is amazing and fast, and very intuitive, but one thing I don't like when I'm in areas where the internet is not very stable, its the lack of a offline version of the application, they already have an android and ios application, but they also require that you are connected to internet, or you wont be able to modify or even view your diagrams.
Some times the web user interface is buggy (but sometimes), when you select a shape and try to move it, it selects and moves the shape behind and not the first one you selected, when it happens it's annoying.
And the last thing I don't like there are shapes repeated, like if there were too many versions of the same shape (some Azure Shapes, or AWS shapes).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A picture is worth a thousand words, thanks to lucidspark it's very easy for me to explain software process flows, software architectures, integrations, infrastructure, everything related to our products, even explaining to non-technical people now is very easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation would be: if you fix or give your users workarounds to these things I consider you can improve (The ones I dislike about your product), you can make a perfect solution.
But even now, you already have an amazing product for teach leaders like me.
