Lucidchart & Lucidspark are Great for Organization and Brainstorming!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark and Lucidchart are both easy to use and a great way to keep students, and myself, organized. The platform is user friendly for my students! They enjoy using the sticky notes and marker tools the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about Lucidspark currently is the lack of integration into other platforms I already use more regularly, like Zoom. (I believe that is coming soon). It is a bit of a small annoyance to open and login to another website and then have to screen share a webpage. I can't think of any other way to make it better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidspark with students for brainstorming in group projects. This helps out with a current hybrid model of education. Remote students and in person students can collaborate more easily! I use Lucidchart for seating charts to maintain social distancing.

What do you like best about the product?
In these times where it is near impossible to get everyone in the same room, the real time collaboration was great! The ability to vote and set timers on those votes, helped everyone focus and drive actual results and consensus.
The fact that it was also a browser application allows all users to utilize the tool, we did not have to get one for our Mac users and one for our Windows users. Even our fringe Linux users were able to utilize the tool. This removed the excuses for not being able to access it.
The video series on YouTube also helped a lot

What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of a longer trial period would have been nice. Allowing us to try for a week, while useful, it takes a little longer to get a team new to design thinking up and running internally and scheduling everyone at the same block of time can be challenging within a short period of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are new to design thinking in our company, and this tool has been a godsend to allow us to work as a team across time zones and countries. This also allows everyone to have input and as a result ownership of the direction of our products. With this renewed energy, our development team feels empowered and the results have shown in the development.

Try it out and see it for yourself. Even the free version has features that provides useful features
A bit confusing at first
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of info/data that a single page can hold. Additionally I think the unique format (reminiscent of thought/idea trees) is highly valuable in disseminating unstructured information that would otherwise be stored in typical spreadsheet or text-based documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Relating to User experience; I am finding it difficult to navigate via a Windows operating system and without a mouse that incorporates zoom/panning. Doesn’t seemed designed for this setup.
2) I have yet to find a search function within the tool. This makes it somewhat difficult to find specific information. Correlating to this issue, The organization of the information, when each individual is responsible for content and placement of their respective data; the board can quickly become a little disorganized and difficult to understand flow and the bigger picture the info is trying to convey.

Transparency among departments/teams. Prior to the implementation of Lucidsparks, there was little understanding of cross-departmental roles nor their contributions to the overall business objectives.
