What do you like best about the product?
Teams in my org use Lucidspark for defining and refining production processes. The best thing about Lucidspark is the maneuverability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still new at this software, but I don't like that there is no place to record brief notes about each process; notes that can be hidden/shown with a mouse hover. This could be a great addition to the tool especially for collaborating on process improvement. Another great function to add is an Action Item box. Many times, we can't finish collaborating without going out of the collaboration and obtaining more information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving coordination problems right now. We have several teams involved in the production procedure. As we change our tools and processes, the biggest issue we have is making sure everyone is on the same page. Lucidspark allows us to illustrate the processes and view all the steps as a team. We can make live changes and collaborate on steps that are unclear or need more refining.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't use products like Lucidspark often in your day-to-day business, then make sure to use the "What's New" feature of Lucidspark. It will provide you with recent updates that were made to tool .

Great Usability

What do you like best about the product?
- The Interface is simply great!
- Plenty of Templates
- Many Functions
- Integrations. I actually think that really nothing is missing!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't disliked anything. I have been using it for a week (Freemium). But I have some Feedback ;)

- Couldn't find a client version. I think having a classy offline version is still a plus ;)
- The training materials (Basic Course/tips and tricks) are a little hidden. There is also the section "What would you like to do", maybe "Getting Started" and "Tips and tricks" could be linked there as well. So it would be more visible to new user.
_ It would be nice to have the question mark button (visible on the home page) also available while working on a project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am visualizing processes and roadmaps. I was looking for an easy-to-use, web-based application. Furthermore, I didn't want to compromise on powerful functions.
Lucidspark is very intuitive to use "out of the box". I think everyone can use it without training - but if needed, there are also self-learning units.

So far I couldn't find a Client Version, but there are plenty of integrations!

What do you like best about the product?
Allow me to work in a group, this makes the process even easier for those who are part of a research group.
What do you dislike about the product?
The arrows do not connect automatically, and this causes the system to not have much flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I did some work for college courses and formalized processes for a research on applications for autistic children.

Best Chart and Visualizations Product I've Found!

  • March 25, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is the best product I have used to create any type of chart or visualization. I have used it for pitch decks and sales presentations with great ease. The ability to use templates and quickly adapt them to suit your needs is paramount. I signed up and was using it within minutes. A must for any startup or established business looking to create visual charts of processes, hierarchies, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been anything I have disliked about Lucidspark to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating flow charts in other programs was tedious and basically amounted to a MS paint program where lines came out weird and it took a tenuous amount of time to create exactly what you needed. In addition, there were limited or no templates which took more time. Lucidspark has solved this problem impeccably! I have been able to quickly and efficiently diagram any process within our company.

Tool to express ideas clearly.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool does justice to its name, its lucid! It allows the use of pen and paper in these virtual times. I like that the tool is collaborative and has all the features one could ask for.

The sharing of our work to others is quite efficient and easy. I have also used Lucid chart application in my college project and absolutely loved its ease of use and the available features. Their free virtual training has made the work even easier.

What I love the most is the ability to create multiple whiteboards and share a link which can be used by any of my team member to work on the same board to share and work more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if the app has more features and access in the trial version, as of now screens, pens, fonts everything is much less in the free trial version.

I haven't came across any flaw yet. But I will make sure to update my review whenever I find one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming about new projects and documenting code flows of existing projects.
Making charts for the existing code base makes it easy to explain the logic behind the code and is time saver for all.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In these times when everyone is online and working virtually I think this is the best way to collaborate with teammates and not spend too much time in communicating orally.
Rather, communicate ideas visually and be able to do things in much lesser time.

Excellent workflow and white-boarding tool

  • March 25, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that its web based so it is cross platform. It's also easy to share to others on my team or outside of my organization. Importing Visio diagrams is a breeze and it does a great job of exporting to many different formats. I love being able to send a link to others and have them collaborate in real time. I actually prefer this over an actual whiteboard because of the infinite canvas.
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool doesn't have too many downsides. You can import charts from lucid chart, which is great, but any changes made to the chart in spark don't get replicated back to the chart itself. It would be great if there would be an ability to sync those back after we're done collaborating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to do white-boarding with our clients without being in the same room. This tool allows us to do everything we can do in person, but virtually.

Just what I needed

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and I can put what is in my mind to a visual map!
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a template to choose from
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have created a mind map which help the team to understand about the plan better and easier
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I was looking up online to see if anything can transfer what is in my mind to a visual plate quickly and I found Lucidspark. I like it a lot!

    Computer Software

It's like sticky notes on steroids!

  • March 25, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Google Keep (sharing, notes keeping) but functionality is very limited. Lucidspark has so much more templates that make notes/data points keeping much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscription is decent for 1 individual but it adds up quickly with team setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the templates are so professional-looking. Flowchart, Kenban, Scrum Boards are quite primitive (missing business logic) but simplicity is the main selling point for simple setups.

Lucid Spark - Easy to use and works well with Visio

  • March 25, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use
Works well both in importing and exporting to/from Vision files. This is important to me as many of the people I work with uses it
The fact that its browser-based means I can work on my files across different computers, which is useful as I have a separate home office for my work from home days
What do you dislike about the product?
The autosave is sometimes annoying as sometimes I start editing the wrong file and there isn't a way to "unsave" the changes. Yes I know there is version control but I prefer a simple way just to discard all changes done this session
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of my job scopes is to prepare functional specifications for users. Lucidspark provides me with the means to draw the various flow charts, use case, etc etc that I need to provide
