Great brainstorming tool - but LucidChart checks most of the boxes for me.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great for brainstorming sessions; the team collaboration works really well. I also like the infinite canvas. I like the tagging feature, which is one thing that I could NOT do in Lucidchart. I like that there are so many options for shapes and colors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I feel that there's not a lot of value added if you already use Lucidchart, which seems to have more options and functionality. A few features that especially stand out here that I wish Lucidspark had...
- Needs more hotkeys for faster node creation (like the mind mapping feature in LucidChart)
- Reorganize by hierarchy
- Multiple pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great way to organize thoughts, brainstorm, think through problems. Some people think in excel sheets, some in paragraphs/prose, some in pictures. I personally think mind maps are the best way to corral scattered thoughts, jump around between ideas, and work on multiple problems at the same time. It's also a good way to represent that thinking for other people (especially if you reorganize it a little bit :)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't think it would be worth it to pay for subscriptions to BOTH Lucidchart and Lucidspark. I don't well enough understand the difference between the two, to be honest. It seems Lucidchart has almost everything I need, though the tagging & commenting features in Spark are especially nice for categorizing ideas and getting feedback.

The team collaboration and organization of the program reflected positively in my experience.

What do you like best about the product?
The team collaboration, organization, and assistance in displaying my project plans are good qualities in the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to use a business email since small businesses just starting may not get the opportunity of Lucidspark. It’s hard to share photos on the website which would really help explain things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for projects when I work with my students or coworkers. Before, we had to communicate without being able to see what each other was talking about. This really helped me draw out any ideas I had and the other people could see it easily. This is really one of the greatest benefits.

Helpful collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite parts of Lucidspark are the templates and frameworks they provide to get brainstorming sessions started. They save so much time and allow us to stay focused on the task at hand, instead of getting bogged down creating structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is the number of comparable options on the market. It seems everyone I work with has a different tool they want to use for the same collaborative purposes. So, we have little consistency and share-ability between us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LucidSpark for mapping out strategic ideas for clients with other members of my creative team. The ability to jump right in and get to collaborating is a great benefit. Being able to export or share what we have created outside of Lucidspark is another valuable benefit because we are not usually collaborating with clients on these issues.

What do you like best about the product?
Integration options with other services and apps, and more export/import features than some competitors
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems that it's lacking in terms of matching services like Miro for overall use and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an overall company need for a solid whiteboarding solution

Great, Flexible Product for Collaboration

  • March 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible the workspace is, and the ability to vote as a team on favorite ideas. The ability to organize and group notes is great as well, and being able to develop templates for similar future uses is a nice touch. I've been enjoying both the look and the function.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm happy with the product overall, though I could see room for expansion and the ability to include videos (e.g., linked or embedded from YouTube). I also wouldn't mind some small additions, like alignment options for multiple notes and creating bulleted lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Leading a group on public health data, I'm looking at organizing and visualizing the data we currently collect and other data we hope to in the future. It's a great platform to play with ideas, link related areas, and present our overall picture.

Powerful, easy to use flow chart software

  • March 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is quick and easy to get started without much effort. The interfaces and drop-down menus are very straightforward and it is very easy to produce a simple flowchart in minutes. Save and export options are excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that I would recommend tweaking or that struck me as a deal-breaker or "I hate this" feature/aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to create a quick and clear but professional looking flow chart quickly. Using Word, Excel and PowerPoint had not yielded anything that looked good; indeed, they were awful looking efforts.

Very simple, intutive and really functional, best tool I have ever used

  • March 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the useful templates it offers. On the whiteboard, it is easy to create ideas and grouping together. Cool features are: Exporting to multiple options, importing document gifs and images, converting designs to the template, grid view, snap to objects. Sharing and collaborating are very flexible and provides multiple options to view and update changes and share by link feature.I seriously like the product and would recommend it to everyone in my organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, I didn't dislike any feature, all features are cool. Good if you have prototyping of multiple web or mobile screens possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming, requirement gathering for a client. It is good to collect all the information in one place and group related items together which can be shared with the software development team. The use of sticky notes is great in collecting multiple ideas collaboratively and remotely that helps in creative thinking and better decision making
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for virtual collaboration for a whiteboard that can be used for brainstorming, ideation, mind mapping. I also use this whiteboard with proposed customers in gathering requirements and collecting valuable feedback. This can also be used by the technical manager to screen candidates based on skills in designing, building product architectures, explaining business process tasks and flows. They can also be used to create feature flow and as well as how data flow in a software application. The availability on the cloud provides greater flexibility in terms of availability and collaboration. I seriously recommend this product to UX/UI designers, product managers, Machine learning engineers, marketing people to prepare personas and marketing campaigns.
