One of the Best platform for code collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I am working as a spring developer . And I need to push my code daily to gitlab by creating separate branches. I found its user interface very easy to use as well as understandable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, while solving merge conflicts, it creates some issues but I think that's not a big thing. However, I will be happy if this thing will be resolved soon.

I am pushing my code on a regular basis to GitLab, and my other peers are accessing that code very easily. It made collaboration of code much easier while developing applications.
Great repository management and CI/CD
What do you like best about the product?
Gitlab is really a great tool. What I like most about is it's CI/CD feature which is built-in and GitHub uses third party integration. It's a complete DevOps platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just the UI UX can be more effective everything else is good for me

I've been working on a app amd work with a team. Gitlab helps in managing this project and does a great job on team collaboration.
One of the best code repository to store code online
What do you like best about the product?
When working in large team where code is changing frequently or we need to share code that we can do it easily with git lab
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no direct integration of gitlab with any code editor like eclipse so that can be frustrating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is no direct integration of gitlab with any code editor like eclipse so that can be frustrating
Works well for all your basic needs
What do you like best about the product?
Integrates with all modern dev environments well, does all the "git"-based actions
What do you dislike about the product?
Merge Requests (code reviews) could be a little smoother. You have to scroll through every change instead of having a more interactive view of each modification in each file. Also, setting a standard list of mandatory approvers would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized code reviews are key.
GitLab - Review
What do you like best about the product?
GitLab is the best version control option for private and organizations. It offers amazing features like the access control levels which some of its competitors do not have. Collaboration/sharing code is super easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up and using GitLab is slightly more time consuming than its competitors, the UI can definitely be improved to cater to more novice/new users. Ci/CD runners are another one of those areas, where GitLab can definitely improve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitLab is just the perfect solution when your needs involve, custom access rights and more personalized collaboration. Maintaining code is a breeze, and its no wonder that organizations would prefer GitLab over its competitors for the unique features that only GitLab provides
A secure and productivity enhancing code repository
What do you like best about the product?
This tool increases the efficiency of a developer by showing where we are supposed to be actually. It shows where are we lagging behind. And on top of this it provides top notch secure storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool simply lacks some essential features when comparing them with competitors. The menus are a bit complex to workaround for a beginner. Sometimes it takes a while to show the code error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using this for delivery and to track the progress of my small projects which essentially don't require advanced features. It is fairly light application and the storing process is fast and effective.
