The keyboard-first navigation saves an incredible amount of time and mental load. It doesn't seem like it would be a big deal at first, and it takes a brief period to become fluent in Superhuman use, but once you get fast, it's night and day in terms of ease of swiftly moving through outstanding emails.

I don't consider it to have any significant downsides.

Fast, Visually Clear Email Client That Saves Time and Delivers ROI
What do you like best about the product?
Speed of use and visual clarity are the main strengths for me. The AI / Intelligence aspect feels fairly marginal, but I’m still happy to pay the price for the speed and the time it saves - feel like it delivers ROI. Support is responsive. Want to try more integrations.

Supercharged Email, Highly Recommended
What do you like best about the product?
I like Superhuman Mail because it makes email a breeze and it's way faster to keep my hands on the keyboard, which helps me clear through my inbox efficiently. I appreciate being able to navigate anywhere in my email, whether that's different folders, forwarding emails, or replying to emails. The AI assistant stands out as it helps polish up my writing or even composes drafts for me. I also use Wispr Flow to voice dump my thoughts and allow the AI to compose emails for me, which reduces my need to type. If I don't like how it turns out, I can ask the AI to revise it. Additionally, the initial setup was surprisingly easy and quicker than I expected. I haven't tried it yet, but I like the idea of the Pebbles feature they just released.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it was just a lack of exploration of the product. Initially, I didn't know how to access my folders. I thought I had to click around, and then I just thought about it. I hit control + k, typed in 'folders', and saw that if I type 'go to', I can start typing any folder name, and it will take me right to that folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Superhuman Mail to make email a breeze, navigating with just the keyboard. Its AI assistant helps polish my writing or draft emails. I save time since it's faster to clear my inbox with keyboard shortcuts.
Snippets and Read Receipts That Supercharge Daily Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
The snippets and read receipts have been absolute game-changers for my day-to-day efficiency. Read receipts, in particular, give me a clear sense of which project stakeholders are engaged and which ones may be waiting on a follow-up, so I can prioritize my check-ins more effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the formatting options a bit restrictive compared to a traditional email client. In particular, I’d like the ability to highlight text for emphasis, along with a more seamless way to insert emojis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It effectively removes the friction of manual, repetitive email tasks. With snippets and quick keyboard shortcuts, I can handle a high volume of coordination in a fraction of the time it would normally take.
Simple, Easy-to-Use Inbox Management That Saves Me 1–2 Hours a Day
What do you like best about the product?
It’s a simple system that’s easy to use and makes it much easier for me, as a professional project manager, to stay on top of my inbox. I don’t lose track of emails I’ve already read anymore, and it’s also easier to track conversations and follow up on replies. Overall, I save about 1–2 hours a day on email review.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar system feels underdeveloped, which means I still need to rely on Outlook to properly manage and schedule my meetings, as well as send invitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest feature for me is that each email stays in my inbox until I either mark it as a completed task or schedule it to re-enter my inbox at a later time or date. That approach gives the app a clean look and feel, because it keeps the number of emails I’m seeing in the inbox limited to a short list of items I actually need to take care of. It also saves me time when I’m searching through past messages and trying to track information down in long chains and email conversations that can span months, or even years.

What do you dislike about the product?
nothing... only thing that would make it better is if it were free! lol
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves me a lot of time. I used to have my emails pile up and would take too long to respond to prospects and clients and now I get back super fast and can get to inbox zero a lot easier
