Perfect product for Data Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau has lots of cool features but few things I would like to highlight here are :
1.Easy to use and no programming background required to learn this Tool.
2. You can combine multiple data sources with the help of data blending.
3. Performance: If you compare Tableau with Other BI Tools then performance is key factor and there is no limit for fetching the data into Tableau.
4. Tableau has robust and secure architecture and now you can use Tableau Prep Tool to clean up your Data.
5. The most useful and powerful features of Tableau which I think is Relationship and LOD's.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Unlike Power BI offers you lots of different inbuilt chart options Tableau provides only 24 inbuilt charts. Most of the chart you have to create by yourself.
- Licence cost is higher as compared to other BI Tools but I think Tableau justify this cost because of its performance and features it offers to the customer.
- You can not create multiple sites like Tableau server in case you are using Tableau Online and here is the trick if you want to create another site, then you have to buy seperate online server .
- Last but not least while working with automation project we were trying to automatically publish the report from lower environment to higher environment there is clear gap. We were using Mac OS tableau content migration Tool does not support to MAC OS.

So far I have used Tableau for Different Clients to solve their Unique needs. While working with Jaguar and Land Rover I have used Tableau to track the energy consumption for it's plants in UK. Where client was able to track the energy consumption in terms of water, GAS and Electricity consumption. And they were able to compare the energy consumption for two different years and they can choose the different Plants and buildings inside the plants.
Tableau provides intuitive data visualization experience, enabling users to transform data.

Its user-friendly interface and integration with various data sources make it a powerful tool for both beginners and advanced users.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Tableau is incredibly powerful, it can sometimes require a bit more time to optimize complex visualizations for performance. However, this also encourages a deeper understanding of data structuring and dashboard design, ultimately leading to more efficient and insightful results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau solves the challenge of turning large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights through intuitive visualizations. It helps streamline data analysis, enabling quicker decision-making by identifying trends and patterns that might otherwise be missed. This benefits me by allowing me to communicate findings effectively with stakeholders, improve business strategies, and save time by automating data updates and reporting.
Tableau is an extremely strong and adaptable data visualization tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The drag-and-drop interface of Tableau is user-friendly especially for individuals lacking extensive technical knowledge. Users only need to choose the fields and data points from their datasets to quickly generate charts, graphs, and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau can be costly, particularly for startups. Even with its flexibility, the licensing model still adds costly, especially when you extend usage across teams or a complete company.Tableau is capable of handling huge datasets; but, depending on the structure and connectivity of the data, excessively large or complicated datasets may cause performance issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spreadsheets and massive, enterprise-level databases are just two examples of the many data sources that tableau may connect to and aggregate into a single dashboard. Working with varied data becomes simpler as a result, and complicated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures are avoided.Tableau makes it simple to retrieve, combine, and evaluate data from several sources in one location, which speeds up decision-making and cuts down on time spent manually compiling data.
The State-of-the-Art Data Visualization Tool and More
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface the most. Tableau is easy to get started with just a few clicks. The ease of implementation is second to none. If there is anything you want in your visuals, chances are Tableau has it. I also like that Tableau matches the user's level of rigor. It can be as simple as visualizations from a spreadsheet to a full-blown SQL query from the database connection.
