Tableau Is Okay
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is good for a user friendly user interface to design dashboards and do basic analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of fine control over analytics such as models applied to time series.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to create sharable dashboards that have security rights per user. This allows us to share these dashboards for state reporting to specific auditors.

Some accessibility features are difficult to implement (eg: fill a bar with pattern)

I am a fan of Tableaus advanced layout capabilities. It is easy to get started but also requires a skill journey to become an advanced user.

The downside is that there is a sneaky learning curve to actually becoming good at Tableau
