The power of Tableau
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is really easy tool and can easily integrate with other source of data to create report. It can be connected with other tools such as SQL and Excel,the report and visualization simpley can be created with drag and drop into the workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fees and limted costomazation are the the things that I don't like

With Tableau multiple data resorces can be integrated

What do you like best about the product?
What i really enjoy about tableau is how easy it is to get started using the software. If youre already familiar using Excel it actually wasnt too hard to transition to using Tableau for visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there needs to be an easier way to make Tableau more structured similar to MS Power BI. Tableau's free-flowing nature gives too much freedom sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps visualize the data that my company has collected, and allows me to easily input my secondary data alongside the primary data so that it's easy to visualize.

User friendly to develop, it has good graphs options

Complicated formulaes to learn, like for doing statistical analysis MS Excel has better functions and plugins

What do you like best about the product?
I'm trying to break into data analytics professionally and thought it would be a good idea to take an introductory course on Tableau. I was expecting it to have a steep learning curve but oh boy, was I surprised. The friendly and beautiful user interface was so appealing, the straightforward methods that Tableau provides to join multiple datasets and manipulate them as need, and being able to create beautiful visualizations with only a few clicks (literally, drag and drop!) really took me away. I unfortunately used a free trial of the professional version so I do recommend doing everything on Tableau Public and uploading it so when you decide to get the professional version, you'll have all your work ready to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! I just wish that my work on professional was easily accessible and not blocked behind a paywall.

Providing me with the necessary skillset to become a data professional!

We are challenged with the data filter limitation. We have to do multiple data filter logic

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, I did not have any previous experiance using any software so complete and powerfull as tableu, I was used to excel or google spreadsheets, and I am loving it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Havent use tableu that much to really tell a key negative point that Tableau has, how ever something that I found was, I was unable to save one of my sheets as an Image PDF or powepoint file, to do it I had to move from Tableu public PC to the Online version, That is what I found until know, if there could be a way to link the sheet or dashboard to a presentation localy with out the need of the online version would be excelent, at least an easier way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing me to show steakholders, AKA my boss or clients, my findings after reviewing data set, I am moving into the data analisis and I was using excel or spreadsheet charts to create presentations, however those tools are limited and not powerfull as tableu, is more flexibe. I hate when e visualization gets on the way of my spreadsheets data.

What do you like best about the product?
The layout is pretty and easy to hand on. Also could use sql to do some data processing, love it, especially I love it to do dashboard, always more efficiency than other data visualization tools
What do you dislike about the product?
When I open so many sheet, it will be not fluency, not sure it's my laptop problem or yours.

Help me show a more clearly results to the stakeholders, transfer the tech language to a graph language

What do you like best about the product?
I'd say that the most helpful about Tableau are the user-friendly environment, it is easy to integrate your data (excel sheets, data banks, databases) with the software and to create dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside I have found with Tableau is the avalability, meaning not all the companies are able to afford it. But once they have it, the investment translate into the business really easy

In our business we get every day and every second data from our customers, but it is difficult to translate this into insights, with Tableau, we are able to skip the tons of data and go directly to the dashboards, to the analysis and through it, create&find insights that allow us to improve our business
