My Experience Using Tableau
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things about Tableau is how intuitive and user-friendly it is, even for people who aren't data experts. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to create visually appealing, interactive dashboards that help you uncover insights quickly. I also really like how seamlessly it connects to a wide variety of data sources, which makes blending data and staying updated much simpler. Plus, the visualizations are powerful and customizable, which helps in telling a clear data story.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Tableau is that it can get expensive, especially for small teams or individual users. Also, while it's user-friendly for basic visualizations, more advanced features—like complex calculations or custom scripting—can have a steep learning curve. Performance can also lag with very large datasets unless the underlying data is well-optimized. Lastly, version compatibility issues sometimes arise when sharing workbooks between different Tableau versions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It turns large, complex datasets into clear, interactive visualizations, which makes it much easier to identify trends, monitor KPIs, and spot issues in real-time. This has been a huge benefit because it reduces the time spent on manual reporting and makes data more accessible to non-technical users. It supports faster, data-driven decisions across departments—whether it's improving customer experience, optimizing operations, or tracking performance metrics.

What do you like best about the product?
I am currently in the process of getting certified as a tablet desktop specialist, so there are plenty of events for me to attend that will enhance my knowledge to help pass the certification and help other teammates.

There hasn’t been any dislike so far, as I’ve been enjoying learning.
