Tableau review for a rapidly growing startup
What do you like best about the product?
I like the drag and drop features to quickly generate your own analytic dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the UI can be tailored to be more user friendly. I believe it's currently tailored to be more industry professional-centric
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to avoid using SQL to extract data and quickly create my own dashboards
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tableau seems daunting at first, but using the extensive training documentation, you quickly pick up the basics, and you can start visualizing and analyzing your critical business data. Strongly recommended, no matter the size of your company or industry type

ability to finally manipulate data across data sets and platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
as usual with Salesforce, the training and support resources are the WORST. if you want to go back to school full time then you will get the full capabilities, or you can double your budget and hire the experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
education on how to use the tool is the greatest problem. once we get reports they are very helpful, but it is a painful journey since we are new to the platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
make sure you have staff that can learn or is already trained ... this is not for a beginner

Nothing so far I noticed till date . I am satisfied

We are monitoring cases opened and assigned to each user with respect to the user . All with real time data

What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive nature of the reporting and dashboard capabilities. I was able to self teach everything that I know and can create robust reporting using out of the box capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system can run quite slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the system to provide business line of sight to all performance in sales force at all levels.

Evaluate all types of reporting and data points needed prior to implementation.

I like how you can take data from excel and turn it into different charts, manipulate the data easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data you move over has certain restrictions.

Ways to present the data in a cleaner way. Also whenever the data changes it will update itself.

Lisence issue only, team will respond whencever there is a problem
Tableau’s data virtualization is way above what traditional BI vendors offer

Quite user friendly interface with options to use multiple worksheets to create a dashboard and multiple dashboards to create a story.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while to refresh. It takes a lot of effort in data manipulation to match queries. Creating dashboards to show the right kind of visuals at times involve creating multiple worksheets which can be tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It loads quite fast. I have solved the issues of moving visuals from Google Sheets to Tableau for my client successfully and the results were brilliant.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Though the interface can be a bit boring at times, please don't allow that to undermine the potential of Tableau. This tool offers excellent visuals. Try using the Map feature which is fantastic to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Tabs can be left open for future reference. This makes it easier to use. I can toggle back and forth to different areas of Salesforce without losing the work I've been doing all along.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes finding the data I'm looking for can be difficult. I use the Pardot integration a lot and find that I'm doing more searching to find important data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to add files to libraries so all of the company can access it. This helps us deal with version control of documents. Using the Pardot integration, I can report on an open rate, look at numbers of emails delivered to report back to our team on the success of notification, for example.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very user friendly and the user experience is fantastic. Using the vector illustrations, you can build interfaces and stories which make placing the details together quite simple. There will be an internet forum where you can discover Tableau's different features in one. Also, whether there are software-related questions they are addressed by the Visualization Team quite quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need an knowledge of the statistics to utilize this program, previous copies of the same generated file can not be recovered. Managing versions is a question, then. Unable to build left joins during data processing. Using blends these must be produced separately. The gui on the dashboard isn't easy to only use. It's hard to change and position the numerous sheets in dash when operating on a computer. Takes memory up a number. High cost of registration. The tableau's data cleaning features require improvising. It only knows data in a given preset format. The data is sluggish to load and refresh.

Although I use other tools for data cleaning and planning, Tableau helps me to construct beautiful AND insightful vector illustrations easily and rapidly. It's innovative stock of numerous graphic forms and spatial devices helps you to view data virtually every way, making it much easier to customize graphs to specific organizational needs and tastes.

Tableau is a perfect method for making beautiful renderings to visualize the source results. User experience which is really intuitive. Ensures the dashboards grow rapidly and deploy easily. Users will know in a year or two, and start creating interfaces.
