One of the best visualization tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use - gives you good visualization for your analysis
Can integrate with multiple data sources
Layered view when using different parameters
Drag and drop functionality is very helpful

What do you dislike about the product?
May be the cost, it's a bit expensive when compared to Power BI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work as a security analyst so performing analysis on heavy data sets is key for me, tableau makes that analysis very easy
Easy to use but hard to convey to business.
What do you like best about the product?
Calculated fields are the most helpful because it allows me to do calculations as needed when connecting with other databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not enough documentation about tableau and breadth of information is not available online or otherwise accessible.

1. Data Preparation has to be done beforehand. Cannot do complex data manipulations in Tableau

1. Helps with Data Analysis. Getting insights from data in Visualization format is easier than reading tables

What do you like best about the product?
I adore how many features they offer in comparison to their rivals. Simply put, it makes data integration within the software incredibly simple. I enjoy how fast and simply it enables me to create smart and aesthetically pleasing visualizations while integrating and analyzing enormous volumes of data from numerous sources. Furthermore, it integrates advanced analytics techniques such as complex aggregations and prediction models. The charts are very easy to use, and you may format, color, resize, and adjust the default numbers to suit your needs. Another feature that I find incredibly helpful in my daily operations is easy connectivity with other software and platforms, such Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

It might not be as customized as some of its rivals, has a learning curve for novice users, and can be somewhat pricey

The user-friendly design makes it easier to explore and analyze data quickly. In addition, Tableau has drastically reduced the time needed to establish connections with data sources, carry out complex analysis, and create informative representations that the entire organization can use.
Amazing reporting program
What do you like best about the product?
The reports that Tableau produce are totally customisable to your business needs. We can build any type of reporting to provide to internal and external stakeholders.

It can look complicated at first glance but once you understand how to read the data it is producing, it is very user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau assists us in colating all of our data, producing customer reports that are sent to both internal and external stakeholders
A very intuitive and easy-to-learn tool
What do you like best about the product?
- It is a very easy and intuitive tool to use. Unlike PowerBI, it took me less time to learn how to use the tool.
- The integration with external applications (in my case MySQL) was very simple.
- A lot of documentation both from Tableau's official page and from the community in various forums and video platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only disadvantage would be not having a free version of the program. Although it offers a 14-day free trial, it was not enough for me to learn everything this tool offers, nor is it enough time to gain experience with the program if one wishes to excel in jobs where it is needed. While it is an easy-to-use tool with several very practical functionalities, I couldn't afford the constant use of the application for financial reasons.

The act of presenting deliverables to management quickly and effectively.

Easy to use for doing different data visualizations.

Sometimes is tricky to organize the data you need to import from Excel.

It is helping me to create dashboards with the data collected, so I can show better the information to the partners of my company and they can make better decisions.
Best User-Friendly Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I had great experience working with Tableau and mainly drag and drop feature makes easy to create complex dashboards without much coding knowledge. I can say Tableau has enhanced my data analysis and dashboard creation capabilities.

Public version has very less feautures compared to paid version.

Tableau simplifies the data and makes it to connect, visualize and share for users. It benefited me for drag and drop, data integration, customization.

I did come across few things that I felt were missing such as data cleaning.
A user would have to do all the data cleaning beforehand
When it comes to visualizations, even if some functionalites are missing there are always alternatives to achieve the same task in Tableau

1. Creates powerful visualizations in short time which other wise would have taken hours to do in other softwares

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau allowed me to take my business to the next level. It enhanced my way of doing business and my overall thinking. I look forward to continuing to use the product and spreading the word!!

I wish it was advertised more as I learned about Tableau a little late to the game
