Powerful data visualization, strong tool
What do you like best about the product?
It provides excellent data connectivity, allowing integration with cloud applications, databases, and spreadsheets. The ability to filter, clean, and transform raw data into meaningful visual representations is one of its strongest advantages. real-time dashboards help decision-makers stay updated with the latest information.
What do you dislike about the product?
the learning curve can be steep, especially for users without prior experience in data analytics. Some advanced features require scripting knowledge, and pricing can be high compared to other solutions. The mobile experience could also be improved for better usability on smaller screens.

It helps streamline data analysis by making large datasets more accessible and visually compelling. It simplifies reporting, enhances decision-making, and provides real-time analytics that allow for proactive business strategies.

I love everything about Tableau.

2. Options of creating single and multiple pages report, dashboards using graph, chart, maps etc.

Tableau is helping me and my team in reporting mainly, we are creating multiple reports and dashboards for business intelligence purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is fairly intuitive and it is easy to build visualizations from your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building visuals from complex datasets may require additional expertise/training
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps have a repository of large data sets that can be sampled based on multiple different requirements. Much more simple than filtering in excel.

I like that Tableau can connect with many data sources easily, and it makes really nice graphs and dashboards. Drag and drop feature is good for quick work.

One problem is that some features are confusing for new users, and learning advanced things need time. Some time, I feel it need more customization options in charts

Tableau helps in visualizing complex data easily, which makes decision-making faster. It also helps in automating reports, reducing manual work. In insurance analytics, it helps track claims and fraud patterns. The drag-and-drop interface saves time in data analysis

Gen AI capabilities should come up. For few charts you need to know the tricks to draw them

Very power tool with unlimited visualization options, features and customizations. Because of the popularity of this tool, you can find alot of real user solutions and examples online.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many things you can do and make learn to use the platform daunting and difficult. With all that it can do, there some basic usability functions that are still lacking. Typical of more technically advanced tools.

Visualization of multi-0function performance data that represent comparisons across departments are geographic/location dependent.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is great in terms of showcasing interactive and data heavy dashboard. We track our marketing data in tableau and it easily handles our day to day report needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel its advanced features and custom dashboard takes alot time to get hands on. It can be made bit easier with more tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With tableau we are able to track real time insights on the funnel and take data-backed decisions. We can measure marketing effectiveness and accordingly make campaign changes.
Versatile tool with all functionalities needed
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is amazing and the ability to connect to different sources and refresh data as needed helps me control the load on my servers. I have used it with snowflake datawarehouse which is being used in conjunction with dbt and Fivetran.

I wish there were well documented ways to get around some functionalities when displaying graphs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to generate reports and track different industry kpis, I'm also able to compare and contrast the industry prices with our own and the spending versus ROI easily
Great tool for Bi and data visualization
What do you like best about the product?
It has a really intutive UX for dachboard building compared to the competition. Data integration is really quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some bugs on specific views that are hard to mitigate when you work with multiple conditions.

It helps us create company wide dashboards to track main KPIs and funnels.
