Useful tool for Reporting and Data Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Capability to handle large amount of data, user interface, ease of integration through multiple sources, ease of implementation and Natural Language methodologies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is not freely available, you need to purchase its license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau has replaced excel from my daily routine. It has been able to handle a large amount of data which can be fetched from multiple sources. Data cleaning and creating multiple insights about the project has helped me analyse the data in a much better way. It has also given me a perspective of which parameters are important and need to be captured during survey or when the customers are filling their details.
Overall, it has helped in desiging reports and dashboards, which can be shared with C-level executives. These reports help in decision making process as it is data-driven. Tableau has also helped in providing critical insights to support the marketing strategies and focus on key areas which require further improvements.

What do you like best about the product?
Its a really powerful Data exploration, analytics and visualization solution that is key in positively transforming systems. Its key in my research undertakings geared to source insights that help improve business processes. It's empowering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some downsides I've seen include challenges where complex data sets are involved. Sometimes requires more time and training to get over. Its also got a complex licencing model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its key in my research, key in data exploration, preparation, analysis and presentation. Let's me stay well informed, insightful and able to deliver insight that transform, affect decisions positively, inspire action, change systems.
A lot of possibilities but slow

The amount of possibilities in visualization, like setting data labels from a different metric than the one shown, the fact that you can easily replicate dashboards and use same calculations

it's very slow to update database and publish changes from the desktop app

It provides quick analysis tool bar option, where we can easily calculate certain metrics and boost productivity.
It has so many data point connectors hence if we have data it simply connect to it for example nearly pixel perfect graphs.
It provides a great presentation features when socialising data visualisation to stakeholders hence giving chances of handling our activities.

It is easy to extract data from various points of view making the projects planned be done in order without interference.
It's users interface is easy to understand hence it doesn't take long to learn how to use it making every member to use it at all times.

The most helpful about CRM is that it enables us , teams to capture and manage our customer interactions. It also increase efficiency, and reduce manual effort leading to improve customer satisfaction.

The cost of license is a factor to consider.

It has learning curve for basic functionality which is short and online resources for deeper dives which are plenty.
It supports any type of data sources as it supports data from a simple spread sheet to any modern time data base.

It helps us alot since data is easily analysed and we are able to know what is being done and going on within the organisation.
Advantages of having Salesforce as a tool.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best and found the most helpful thing about using Salesforce is that I am able to monitor my associates activity whenever they login. I frequently use Salesforce to check if my associates are adhering to their task and if they are productive during working hours. With the ease of using and with the proper implementation made by our Global Command Center , we are able to track, as well, if they go on overbreaks. GCC are able to integrate it so , not only that, we are able to see the kind of work type they most likely do and how it affects our queue and the impact we leave for our business and customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Salesforce CRM, what I think the opportunity was, my associates worktype was not changed automatically where they can be more productive and maximize their skills and potential. I believe our Global Command Center are working on it right now to resolve this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem that Salesforce CRM Analytics trying to resolve which lead to benefit us is they able to predict how effective and productinve our associates are with the kind of tasks they assigned to know the business and customer impact we are doing in meeting our delivery promise with our customers. We are also able to see if our associates are performing well in terms of their reliability and again, task adherence.

What do you like best about the product?
When creating dashboards, the most cumbersome aspects to handle are formatting and color coding. Tableau's UI provides easy ways to tackle this problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a 15-day deadline that allows the use of the paid software for free (Tableau Public is free but with limited functionalities). They should offer the paid version for free usage as well, but should not permit publishing those dashboards, or provide some discounts for learners beyond the 1-year free student version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau, like all visualization software, is solving the problem of simplifying statistical findings using the correct set of visuals for non-data science people.
