What do you like best about the product?
Easy collaboration, simple to maintain, web authoring, Governance.

Scheduling capability is not having dependency.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to automate our BI workflows and present data in a visually pleasing way. Our customers love using tableau desktop to discover insights, trends, highs, lows, and recommended changes to business operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be burdensome to develop in desktop then publish to server. A cloud only solution, which is planned, would be much more streamlined
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our data reporting goes through Tableau. Our company relies on it day in and day out. We can now show daily reporting in minutes as opposed to hours like in the past.

More Visualization option would be welcome
More calculation options and the ability to modify the date time functions would be helpful.

Business Operations analysis. It's made life so much easier using tableau, and the entire organization is able to view the data and reports we have in real time than waiting for it once a week. Better visibility of data = better-informed decisions

With huge online support you can find help on any of issue you may encounter. Give it a shot. It would help you and your organization a ton and save's a lot of time as well as make your reports look clean and easily understandable

Tool hangs sometime and the Tableau needs to be restarted. It creares user dissatisfaction

The way you drag and drop data makes it much easier to fill in the information, as well as the clean, clear graphics that any bed can understand.

Sometimes it crashes with large amounts of data.

Easy to get the hang of and use. Very powerful tool for filtering large datasets and uncovering trends. It is also capable of creating custom formulas beyond raw data. The graphs that the tableau makes are easy even for people who do not understand analytics, ideal for end users, show information for managers and directors for example

It handles larger amount of data with in a couple of clicks. It helps us to integrate dashboards to Web application.And adoption of Tableau in any environment is very easy.

The only dis-advantage in these platform is if database sever have some issue with performance it directly affects the dashboards on the web application.

Providing each dashboard for each individual customer based on their underlying data available on the database. We are driving our customer to digital transformation by the help of analytical app by doing advance calculation in the background.

Choose Tableau Insurance Analytics only the case when you need to handle large amount of Data or analyse large amount data on a single platform where you can increase efficiency of your business.

Tableau has an easy interface to navigate. It enhances data discovery and understanding within our business organizations. It has simple features, easily accessible data and can easily create reports and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation wasn't as easy as anticipated. There were a lot of bumps and nuances along the way. There were things we were unable to anticipate to integrate so wouldn't blame Tableau for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data, data, data. We needed a way to bring data to life to our key leaders and our reporting prior wasn't cutting it and wasn't as accurate as we needed it to be.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Create a structured plan for internal members prior to implementation. set clear expectations for users and team members. Hold multiple training sessions as early as possible.
