What do you like best about the product?
Visualization is great. Data modeling is made simple and easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Having different ways to do a particular task.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility tableau offers. I mean i could a create map and tell stories with data and be able to share the very same graph to my team and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to dislike that fact it was seperate from core salesforce, but with new integration with the core platform like the iron viz makes more easier to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have two differnet products just to access the our business data salesforce and our business Analytics but given tableau is tightly integrate with salesforce we dont need more products and our data is kept secure.

Building clear and concise dashboards, building out detailed tooltips and drilldowns
What do you dislike about the product?
Out of the box templates, some limitations in ETL steps

Pooling multiple data sources, providing multiple levels of detail

What do you like best about the product?
I love the sheer flexibility Tableau allows. Have been using for over 5 years now and the evolution has been tremendous. There is no other tool in my opinion that allows users to create complex visualizations the way Tableau does.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things to improve would be performance related especially with Custom SQL and more simple options for table formatting. The current options to format tables are very complicated and need a lot of work-arounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me
1) Solve business problems using visualizations.
2) Build dashboards for the business users to track their KPIs.
3) Save time automating reporting and have a unified view across multiple sales, marketing teams.

Is perfect to organize the data and find opportunities in the bussiness, splitting the segments of the company and finding trend in the data, duplicating the "good" patterns to continue that improvement, and changing the "bad" patterns to correct that we are not doing well.

Connection between Tableau desktop and Tableau Cloud sometimes takes too much or it simply doesn't work

Simplify the data, organizing it in a most user friendly way, that everyone with zero experience with data and numbers, could understand in the easiest possible ways the insights that the data could bring us

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and the ability to easily create report templates customized for different user groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data manipulation and ETL can sometime be harder than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Direct visualization of CRM data that used to be a blind spot for us.
Tableau enables forecasting

Tableau allows predictive modelling functions that allows insights and connections to disparate data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau can have unexpected performance issues. By using the performance recorder, these can be identified and data models updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau is replacing Excel files and Access databases to allow users to both consume and visualize business data

Tableau has been crucial in understanding my company's progress as well as understanding our data to plan for the future. We use tableau for everything!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it lags at every step of doing any action - "executing query"
