What do you like best about the product?
Tableau has helped us to dive into almost any metric you could imagine. I enjoy the ability to customize my reports to provide me details from customer information to sales rep and managing that on a ongoing basis
What do you dislike about the product?
Some the export features are lacking in how well the capture the report. Sometimes I wish the pdf or photo feature would capture the whole report and not just a screen shot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me to get granular with my sales team and know very specific metrics that I am trying to drive. I also use it often for running and tracking sales contests

It's ability to generate the various types of dashboard very easily that interprets data in a very engaging way that any novice can understand

We have been using Tableau for the past one and a half years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The platform is relatively stable. I rate its stability a nine out of ten.

The platform is highly scalable. I have five clients, and the total number of users across all clients is around 300 to 400. I rate its scalability an eight out of ten.

The platform's technical support services require improvement. There should be enough support during the deployment.

The platform is deployed on the cloud and on-premises. Its initial setup is straightforward. It took about an hour or two to deploy. I rate the setup process as a nine out of ten.

The pricing of Tableau should be better to remain competitive in the market, especially when compared to alternatives like Power BI. By adjusting the pricing, it can appeal to a broader range of markets and attract more customers.

We use Tableau for the dashboard features. It helps us with the global planning of our business.

The product has the best features for analytical views and filters. Its integration with Jira helps us prepare intuitive dashboards with filters to share different details of broad-scale planning for a quarter or a year of our business.

The product’s router could be better in terms of readability. When we put more information on a single screen, it gets compressed and superimposed in many places while scrolling. It could be improved.

The product is deployed on the cloud. I rate its initial setup process a five or six out of ten. It is difficult because it has complex documentation, and I am still learning it. A team is involved in the implementation. It takes three hours to complete the process.

Best Visualization Tool for Business
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau support various types of visualization, such as bar charts , line charts, pie charts, scatter plot, heat maps, tree maps, histograms and more. It has interactive dashboards with filter sorts, highlight, and drill down into your data. Main advantage of Tableau is its ease of you.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not handle DAX and pricing is little bit high.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through its user friendly interface and powerful exploration features, tableau enables me to thoroughly comprehend my data. I can associate with different information sources, join information from various stages, and change it into significant perceptions without the requirements for complex coding and SQL Queries. I am able to quickly identify patterns, trends, and outliers thanks to this accessibility, which leads to useful insights.

What do you like best about the product?
I like best about Tableau that you can generate almost any kind of reports, wether it's individual performances, team performances or the whole company. I also frequently use it get an overview over our reference customers in the specific industries.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I dislike about tableau. Sometimes the UI is a bit too small when you try to adjust filters on smaller screens like a MacBook. This is only the case for some reports with many different filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are way more possiblilites to generate reports and get a good overview than you have with the reporting functions of a CRM system. It is also a good way to create transparency in the company

What is most valuable?
The product’s performance is better than other tools. The working speed is good. Creating visualization on Tableau is somewhat easier than other tools.
What needs improvement?
The product has some limitations. Creating empty extracts is not easy. We faced some issues in the initial phase. Creating extracts side by side with multiple lines is not possible in Tableau. This feature is available in Power BI.
If we want to make any changes to the server, we must have the Administrator role. The product should also allow users with Explorer roles to make these changes.

I have been using the solution for the past three and a half years.

The tool is stable.

The tool is scalable. Around 50 people are using the product in our organization. Everyone knows about the product. We have around seven administrators. The number of administrators varies based on the project and tasks.
How are customer service and support?
The technical support is good. I raise a ticket in Tableau Community if I get stuck at any point. I can get the solution easily from the community.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I am also using QuickSight. When we create multiple visualizations and multiple sections using Tableau’s dashboard, the way of executing the visualization is quicker in Tableau compared to other tools. We can pull millions of data and create millions of tables. Apart from the performance issue, compared to other tools, the product provides the best and most advanced features.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is easy. The time taken for deployment depends upon the data, the visualization, the types of reports, and the number of cards.
What other advice do I have?
We are also learning to use other tools. It is beneficial to learn Tableau. It will help us in the future. Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.
