I can access all my data easily here, and managing and visualising is easy as well. It helps me keep a good record of everything that's happening in my product without taking dev bandwidth

It's my go-to for all analytics related needs and has been my staple for data crunching. I love the great visualization tools available, which makes it easy for me to present statistics to my stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for Tableau can be quite steep as a new user, so it is definitely not the tool for beginners unless you're willing to spend a lot of time learning how to use it.

A Powerful Tool that Requires Expertise to Implement
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is powerful - you can take almost any type of data and create impactful visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau is not easy to learn - the learning curve is steep and takes time. Things that should be straightforward can take hours of research or trail-and-error to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting data into people's hands in a way that allows them to ask their own questions and dig into the data. We know our end users are more frequently looking at data after new data dashboards go live.
It gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
It gets the job done, and I can have multiple dashboards as well as multiple elements basically it gives us access to visualize at data in whichever way we need from high-level to granular.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very archaic, super slow to load and update and overall, the UI/UX is not well, it's not intuitive, and its not easy to use; though it gets the job done, it needs new innovative approaches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau gets the job done for us; we use it to visualize our company's vast data from various sources and based on this data, we can make business decisions and analysis.
Tableau - A great visualisation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is one of the best visualization tool as we can connect data from different different data sources even from the google sheets which is super cool. Creating visuals in tableau is quite easy as we just need to load the data and drag and drop the columns and tableau will select best visualization as per the need
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating union and merging data for extracts is where the tableau should do something as it is quite hard to understand and has a very long process. And adding images to the dashboard also looks different on web player and in desktop version which tableau should solve this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helped me solve so many things like automating so many of my reports in which data needs to be updated on a regular basis and now i can easily connect with database and the work is done
TOP in BI/DataViz (and more) market
What do you like best about the product?
It is a potent tool for visualization and has become much more, even for data cleansing tasks in a visual way. In addition, the ability to connect to many data sources natively makes it quite powerful. The continuous development also shows the growth and power of Tableau as a tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
For small companies, perhaps the "weak point" is the price. I don't think it is the right tool for those companies that are just starting out. However, it makes me hesitate because of the ease and agility it gives to analytics teams.

The Data processing power is not that good means the ETL process if need cannot be done in tableau. Like writing complex logics. Which is possible in Qlik

Great visualization tool for managing big data
What do you like best about the product?
We used Tableau to manage the massive amount of data that we had our ecomm startup - it was the best way to visualize and manage the amount of data that we had available
What do you dislike about the product?
You need a strong analytics team to set it up properly and to manage all of the inputs - not quite a drag n drop easy situation to get everything ready to go for the entire org
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to better understand our sales trends, our customers, our products, and how each of those elements interacted with one another over time. We had thousands of customers and 5000+ products so this was a lot of data
Steep Learning Curve with Incredible Payoff
What do you like best about the product?
The online community is incredibly knowledgeable, and most, if not all, questions can be answered through online resources, forums, or official help articles.
Dashboard and report creation is also a huge plus, as there is a level of customization and flexibility unusual for similar software.

What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau does an excellent job of marketing its cloud version, but most formatting and advanced visual settings are only available in the desktop version.
Additionally, their training is a paid subscription; they don't have free options like their sister company Salesforce's "Trailhead." It feels outdated and focuses entirely on the desktop version- not the cloud.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Tableau in our company to create visual displays of data from various sources and applications. We work in multiple industries, and having a single source of truth for the entire company is incredibly helpful. The accessibility for board members across the board is practical and ideal.
