Easy Filtering and Custom Views, but Steeper Learning Curve from Power BI
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use with filtering to the different views we want to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve was a little longer coming from Power BI, but all in all it works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales leaderboard tracking, great for different views of the company.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau offers an easy-to-use and intuitive interface that allows users to create impressive, interactive visualizations without needing to code, making analytics accessible to everyone in an organization. It handles large volumes of data efficiently, supports a wide variety of data sources, and provides advanced dashboarding and data analysis features that help uncover insights quickly. Additionally, its drag-and-drop functionality and robust collaboration options enable seamless teamwork and rapid sharing of findings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau can be expensive for smaller organizations, and its pricing lacks flexibility, sometimes requiring unnecessary features to be purchased. Scheduled report refresh and notification features are limited, often requiring manual data updates. The platform lacks support for custom visual imports, has restricted conditional formatting, and advanced workflows often demand IT assistance and SQL knowledge for complex tasks. Integration with robust security, version control, and broader BI capabilities is not as comprehensive as some competing tools.

Some basic items like sorting are assigning colors to labels are not intuitive

How you’re able to pull multiple data sources into a single reporting repository

We’re brand new to tableau so there’s nothing that I really don’t like about it yet

We have multiple data sources such as Oracle and workday as well as email. Tableau allows me to pull everything into one centralized repository.
