Powerful tool for creating dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
It’s great for making dashboards and integrating into other products in the Salesforce product ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s a powerful tool! I feel like I’ve only touched the surface with it and there is more to do in order to fully leverage it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau is great for creating interactive data visualizations and dashboards.
Great for Visual Storytelling, but Tableau Desktop Can Lag with Large Workbooks
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of creating visuals to highlight insights of my data. It is how I tell the story of what data I am working with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn’t call it a dislike but there definitely is some consistent lag when using tableau desktop. That can be frustrating when working on a large workbook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a Tableau heavy analytics team. We pretty much use it on every analytics project. We create Sales dashboards and maps since we are a company based on regional performance.
Great Data Visualization and Usability, but Limited Report Refresh and Costly Licensing

This tool is user-friendly and offers robust data visualization features, enabling both technical and non-technical users to create interactive datasets with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has limited capabilities when it comes to automatic report refreshing and version control. Additionally, the cost and licensing requirements can be a concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my experience, Tableau excels at converting complex data into straightforward, interactive visualizations, making raw information far more accessible and easier to interpret. This strength empowers me/my company to base their decisions on solid data, which in turn can enhance overall productivity.

Initial Adoption Process Complicated, But Beneficial
What do you like best about the product?
I like Tableau's ability to process large amounts of data quickly. It also helps me obtain clearer and more accurate metrics and simplifies the loading and handling of data, cleaning junk information from our banking system. I appreciate how Tableau integrates data fed from our banking collection sector, allowing for efficient management.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the beginning, the setup and adoption of Tableau was complicated for us. We are still in the process of adoption and implementation, hoping that as we get to know the product better, the processes will become simpler. I would like the platform to be a bit more intuitive and to offer better integration of tutorials directly, instead of having to search for them separately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me obtain clearer and more precise metrics, facilitates data loading and management, and cleans junk data from our banking core.
Great product to provide insights but Steep Learning Curve

Pulling data from multiple sources and getting insights from it.

Seems too complex to get started - team enablement can be an issue.

Intuitive and Insightful Data Analysis with Tableau, but Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is so intuitive and so insightful. It allows you to combine data sets from multiple objects and create reports that cannot be created within Salesforce Report Builder.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost can be prohibitive for some companies. The cost structure can also be complicated and confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau has been beneficial for many of our clients. One, in particular, was able to combine 4 separate Salesforce reports into 1 robust dashboard in Tableau, which has saved them time each week by allowing users to focus on other tasks rather than combining multiple reports.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Tableau’s intuitive interface, which makes showcasing dashboards and sales data to business folks straightforward and engaging. I also appreciate its ease of use and straightforward setup process. The ability to embed Tableau dashboard reporting into Salesforce layouts is incredibly exciting and enhances our integration. Additionally, Tableau’s capability to bring data together for insightful analysis significantly benefits our business decision-making across various organizational areas. Its seamless integration with Salesforce objects is a fantastic feature.

I find Tableau brings data together insightfully for decision-making, simplifies dashboard showcasing of sales data, and is easy to use and set up, especially integrating with Salesforce.
