I must say, Tableau is like a digital canvas that lets you transform your messy data into beautiful, easy-to-read charts simply by dragging and dropping.

It requires powerful computer otherwise it feel very slow and slaggy.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Tableau for a while now, and it has significantly transformed how I analyze and present data. The platform is extremely intuitive, allowing me to create interactive dashboards and reports without needing advanced coding skills. I particularly appreciate the drag-and-drop interface, which makes building complex visualizations simple and fast. I love that I can build visualizations like bar charts, line charts, and maps with a simple drag and drop. Tableau's data connectivity is also a standout feature for me. It lets me connect to multiple data sources like Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Salesforce, cloud-based platforms, and more, enabling quick data blending from different sources. Additionally, the initial setup was fairly easy, especially compared to many enterprise analytics tools. Overall, I find these features enhance my experience with Tableau.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Tableau relatively expensive, especially for small businesses or individual users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I find Tableau to be a great tool for meeting the reporting requirements of our business. The user interface is tremendously helpful, making it easy to bring in all the dimensions and facts related to our business, and it's really easy to use for developers. The charts and reports we create with Tableau have been able to provide great insights for the businesses we consult for, such as business growth, areas for improvement, and where the business is excelling. The ease of importing dimensions and tables into Tableau makes it straightforward to arrange data hierarchically, which is a valuable feature for us. Also, the initial setup was smooth, allowing us to onboard everything efficiently. I'd say Tableau has been a wonderful tool, enabling our organization to provide insightful trends and business analysis to grow. I would recommend it nine out of 10 because it's an incredible tool that improves daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say if Tableau could help us integrate our live data. If there is any functionality to integrate the live data and to populate the dashboards and reports based upon that live transactions that are happening into the database in real time. Would be a very helpful feature for us.

Tableau meets our reporting needs and is easy to use for developers. It offers insightful charts, helps track metrics like repeated customers, and identifies business growth and improvement areas, making it a great tool for business analysis and decision-making.
It is having good performance but they can include more options and make it better

It is beginner friendly and allows data visualization easily and also has a dashboard option where the entire data can be converted to charts and graphs and can be displayed to my team mates easily and explain them the data using these colourful charts.

It is difficult to calculations parameters fields take time to build and also it is difficult to manage if the datasets is very huge and complex.

It is making data visualization extremely easy and also it has an option of uploading pdf which is making it very easy and getting the insights on data for machine learning and showing it to my teammates can be done within minutes using tableau
One of the best but shld be optimized for small businesses

It has easy to use inteface and also like no heavy coding is required and we can create interactive charts etc and the best thing is that it handles large data sets efficiently

It's licenses are costly for like small businesses or startups and it's not ideal for like heavy data cleaning and it slows down if data isn't optimized properly

I find Tableau to be a robust product, which I really like. I can use queries to combine different tables and views from our database, which is very helpful for building aggregated student data outcome reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a big learning curve. It is pretty complex. The online version doesn't have the same capabilities as the desktop version and some of the navigation is different between the two platforms. It was fairly easy to download the software, but not easy to connect the data to the project and set up the filters and queries.

I use Tableau to build aggregated student data outcome reports, allowing us to see student responses in an aggregated form.
