Great for Data Visualization, but Challenging with Unstandardized Data
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is an excellent platform for bringing together and visualizing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be challenging to use when the data isn't standardized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Tableau to visualize our buyer journey and sales cycle, which helps us identify where customers may be getting stuck in our funnel. This insight allows us to better understand and address any obstacles in the process.

A bit old style front end, but it still good

Can analyse a bis amount of data that Salesforce is not able to analyse

Tableau is user-friendly and serves as an excellent tool for non-technical users to generate clear, effective reports and visualizations that support business insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is pricey, I find it worthwhile. Some features are restricted depending on the type of user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We rely on Tableau for reporting and dashboard creation in the higher education sector. Our technical team develops these dashboards and then shares them with business decision makers.

We have integrated Tableau with Serviec cloud and it enhances the reporting metrics we are looking on daily and monthly basis

Nothing as such we are a happy customer.

Great for Natural Language Queries, but Setup and Maintenance Are Challenging
What do you like best about the product?
After setup, being able to ask common language questions and get a data result back.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup and maintenance of product. You need to have someone who can work on it regularly as tableau themselves don’t provide that service.

Giving us all our data in one easy spot for questions and reporting.

Fast Data Lake Integration and Great Visuals, but Needs Better Salesforce Maps Support
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of Tableau when linked to data lakes like snowflake is fantastic. The variety of visualizations continue to be critical to evaluating our business pipeline.

The connection with salesforce maps and creating a world map to display our accounts and opps globally could aid our efficiencies as a sales org.

Great for Dynamic Chart Building, but Developer Dependency Slows Us Down

I love how dynamic it is and its ability for us to easily and simply build charts to help drive our business.

Our current bottleneck is requiring a developer to design our dashboards and there is a huge backlog.
