Reliable Support and Updates, but Needs More Native Connectors
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that it is a standard Salesforce product, as this means it benefits from the same level of support and regular releases as other offerings in the Salesforce ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Native connectors need to be expanded further and further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes to analytics, while the Salesforce reporting tool is quite good, Tableau provides more opportunities for expansion. Although Tableau does have some limitations, it has been working well for me so far.

I appreciate how easy it was to set up Tableau, which made the initial implementation hassle-free. I find the dashboard customization features incredibly valuable, allowing us to tailor our revenue dashboards precisely to our needs. I'm glad that it helps us set up a lot of dashboards for our revenue team. I am pleased with how well Tableau integrates with Salesforce, enhancing our overall workflow and data analysis capabilities.

Fast Visualizations with Tableau, but Pricey and Sluggish with Big Data
What do you like best about the product?
I’d say the best thing about Tableau is how quickly you can go from raw data to clear, interactive visuals — without needing to code much. Its drag-and-drop interface and strong data blending make it great for exploring data visually and spotting patterns fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get heavy and slow with large datasets, the licensing is expensive, and customizing visuals beyond the defaults can be frustrating compared to tools like Power BI or custom dashboards in Python.

Powerful Data Visualizations, Minor Setup Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Tableau's ability to visualize very complex and huge datasets in a more user-friendly manner. The UI, graphical, and dashboard views are extremely helpful, especially when dealing with large amounts of data.

I found the initial setup and product configuration to be challenging. It was difficult to find some technical details, and while the account executive team was helpful, these aspects were still quite tough to navigate.

Great Visualizations, but Takes Time to Learn

There's a bit of a learning curve to get it dialed in.
