Great Visualization Options
What do you like best about the product?
The visualization options and the integration with the data cloud are notable features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau is not commonly used in enterprise environments, so I rarely encounter colleagues who have a foundational understanding of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The real-time dashboards provided by Data Cloud offer immediate insights, allowing me to monitor key metrics as they happen. This feature makes it much easier to track performance and respond quickly to any changes.
Fast Data Insights, but Salesforce Acquisition Changed Tableau's Direction
What do you like best about the product?
Discover insights from data faster than with any other tool — seamlessly exploring information stored across multiple systems, just by following your flow of thought.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the acquisition by Salesforce, Tableau appears to have taken a somewhat different direction from where it used to be headed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps solve the challenge of analyzing data that is scattered across multiple systems by bringing everything together into a single, visual platform. This allows me to reduce the time spent creating complex reports and make data-driven decisions much faster.
Powerful Data Visualization with Tableau, but Choosing the Right Chart Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is a powerful platform that enables businesses to unlock and visualize their data effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find most challenging about Tableau is choosing the right visualizations to effectively convey the story behind our data. This decision can be difficult and is my least favorite aspect of using the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this tool to create complex visualizations that combine both interconnected and independent data, allowing me to bring everything together and effectively tell the story of the business.
Combining Salesforce Data with Other Sources Makes Reporting Easier
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to combine Salesforce data with information from other sources when creating reports. This feature makes it much easier to get a comprehensive view of all the data I need in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is necessary to purchase additional licensing beyond the standard Salesforce platform, which can be inconvenient. I would appreciate it if there were a bundled SKU that included basic Tableau licensing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Executive dashboards provide a comprehensive view by bringing together information from various, often disconnected, data sets. This integration allows for more informed decision-making at the executive level, as it presents key metrics and insights in a unified format.
Great for Data Visualization, but Integration with Salesforce Needs Improvement

Easily visualize data so I (and my leadership) can make quick decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way we have it setup, I don’t like that I have to leave Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to easily see data and communicate that out with others.

Could be simpler to use sometimes tricky for users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The dynamic reporting makes so much sense and makes reporting quick
Powerful Analytics Tool That Deserves Better Integration with Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Tableau is a very powerful and flexible tool for data visualization. It integrates easily with our data lakes and other data sources, and it allows you to build insightful, interactive dashboards with relatively little effort. It’s great for turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Tableau is part of the Salesforce product suite, it often feels like an overlooked or disconnected product. Instead of being tightly integrated and gradually replacing Salesforce’s native reports and dashboards, it seems to compete with them. This fragmentation makes it harder to adopt Tableau as the single source of truth for analytics within the Salesforce ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps us consolidate data from multiple sources and visualize key business metrics in one place. It provides insights into overall sales performance, operational metrics, and technology KPIs, making it easier to monitor trends, identify issues early, and support data-driven decision-making across teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t know enough to adequately state my dislikes as I am currently investigating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Y org has been using PowerBI for somettime but only a few users (including me) have used it and it’s quite difficult do lost folks to use. Plus it’s only on Windows.
Reliable Platform with Smooth Integration, but Licensing Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
This platform offers a reliable and user-friendly interface that makes it easy to integrate various components. I appreciate how it brings everything together smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing and permission processes should be intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provision reporting and multi-system stack reporting are both available. These features help streamline the process of managing and analyzing data across different systems.
