I love how many different things it allows me to accomplish. From data cleaning to dashboards to statistics, tableau has it all.

Sometimes it is not as straightforward as I would expect to get straightforward calculations

I love the tool itself, which allows me to visualize a lot of different types of data

Nothing, everything runs so smoothly and is a great product

Tableau: easy entry and high ceilings!
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is a no-code data visualization and analytics software where you can easily build visualizations without a lot of knowledge. However, Tableau also has very high ceilings where you can do some amazing and non-traditional analyses and visualizations with custom calculations, and even Python integration. The opportunities are endless!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some people may prefer coding softwares as they are more flexible in terms of pixel-perfect design, but I personally have never encountered this downside.

Business performance insights and fast time-to-insight for clients in various industries.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and accessible it is to use. I am an avid user of Tableau Desktop and Server.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have some few dislikes about Desktop. I struggle with container placement, and I wish the experience was a little more user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is most helpful for our research data team in results summarization and text data visualization. It helps us understand and pinpoint our knowledge gaps in the medical market.

Tableau could better integrate custom industry-based visualization tools—such as bioinformatics or cheminformatics packages

My First Time at TC
What do you like best about the product?
I had a great time during my first visit to TC! The conference was very informative and well-organized. The only downside I experienced was in the community room, where it was difficult to hear the speakers and the livestream kept cutting out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really just the fact that I couldn’t hear everything.

It’s helping me bridge the gap between my end users and myself

With only having a Tableau Cloud account, there are other features that would be helpful for our small non-profit, but it's not in our budget.
