Tableau is good tool for dashboard creation
What do you like best about the product?
Good tool for visualisations creating dashboard. I have created multiple dashboard with the help of this tool and showed to client and received really nice feedback on the daahboard visualisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime I feel like to create a interactive dashboard is limited, doing the filter mapping is bit tricky if you create multiple sheets and use multiple filters

Easy to connect with any data source which help me to create dashbord easily, data blending is really good.

What do you dislike about the product?
Performance will be low when connected to live data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative data analysis. And quick conversation of data into information. And story boarding information with predictive analysis

What do you dislike about the product?
Some update's doesn't work properly currently I am not able to use tableau product on latest macOs

Love Tableau, it's a great tool for data visualizations and it's simple enough to learn
What do you like best about the product?
I like Tableau because it offers so many creative ways to illustrate data- it's intuitive and (most times) knows how to express the data in a succinct, visually pleasing way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Tableau's strength is also its weakness. It can offer so many different looks and options playing around with data; it often can be daunting to consider how you want your visualizations to appear. It can be very easy to dive into a rabbit hole and not realize until later that you've lost sight of your original premise and intentions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I use Tableau to pull data (such as metrics) for my data reports, as well as use the visualizations to strengthen my presentations.
The benefits are numerous- many times, the visualizations are already preset and populate automatically based on whatever filters I set. The data is also up-to-date and houses historical data if I need to look at earlier time points.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
1) I recommend playing around with filters so you can see what different data points/visualizations come up, and 2) It's a huge timesaver to save your filter views! Saving your filter views for your usual workflows can be beneficial; that way, you don't need to go through all the little steps to get to your desired dashboards/visualizations/time points, etc.
One of best visualisation tool in market
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is its intuitive nature. I also suggests us to which dimensions and graphs to use prior to our intervention. It provides too many color patterns, styles and features so that our charts analysis will be eye catching in first glance itself. It provides too many connectors sowe can connect diffetent databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes computation takes time. Littlebit complex for beginners to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am data engineer working in advertising and marketing of food and beverages company. With the help of Tableau we have extracted the data from wharehouse amd visualized it. It made us to see clear picture of how much we are spending for advertising for each product in specific country.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I see bit costly and need to get trained to use this.
Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau uses a drag-and-drop interface, and it works great for newcomers as there is no scripting or programming knowledge needed to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is not suitable for Complex calculations or advanced statistics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software is excellent for non-technical analytics and business users who want to get insight.
Great BI tool
What do you like best about the product?
the visualization there is very friendly and allow you to shows graphs in a very easy way
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything bad to say about this software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BI tool and reporting
Excellent visualisation tool that can natively embed in Salesforce.
What do you like best about the product?
What I find most helpful about the tool is the ability to embed analytics components directly on records within Salesforce itself. Power BI and other tools are not so easy to embed directly on records.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuring components can be a challenge as so much of the functionality relies on a code heavy approach rather than clicks. Each release this has improved. I would still like to see further progress of "clicks not code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Tableau CRM mainly for high level dashboarding to aid in executive level activities such as forecasting, demand gen analysis, and other activities looking across the business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your company is a Salesforce forward company and drive experiencing most aspects of the business through Salesforce, I believe Tableau CRM is the best tool for the job. If you are merely looking at it as a data visualisation tool, there are other options out there such as PowerBI, etc, but Tableau CRM shines in its ability to embed within Salesforce and easily consume Salesforce data.
Cloud based Analytics and reporting tool
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau CRM is Salesforce business intelligence tool used for reporting purposes, with great GUI experience and drag and drops functionality. Currently, it's being used as a business and analytics team for marketing and sales teams. If you have Salesforce as a CRM tool and you want to do CRM reporting, then Tableau CRM is the best solution. It has a better GUI than any other existing reporting tool; you can build really eye-catching dashboards using Tableau CRM. Also, as its Salesforce tool so it would provide additional functionality to open quotes or order from dashboard to CRM tool directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Connection to other Sources such as SAP missing.
Different types of joins such as inner full outer missing.
Complex logic and snapshot creation kind of logic are not possible.
Different types of joins such as inner full outer missing.
Complex logic and snapshot creation kind of logic are not possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau CRM is perfect reporting tool if you want to do sales/service/marketing reporting and your data source is Salesforce. Salesforce connectivity and data refresh are straightforward and also very quick. But in case you want to pull the data from other data sources, then it isn't very easy to build a dashboard. Also, you can not write very complex logic such as snapshot creation, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tableau CRM is a good reporting tool, but it's limited to salesforce data mainly. Also, there are many limitations to performing complex calculations. If your perfect data model is ready in salesforce, it's a good tool for reporting. Else, it's an average tool. Please first understand your business need then go for implementation.
