What do you like best about the product?
Because of the broad spectrum of out-of-the-box tools like Prep or Licensed Data Management, as well as the MANY integrations with popular (or not-so-popular) third party tools, Tableau can seamlessly integrate into any workflow, regardless of how complex, old school, minimal, or basic your data pipeline might be.
Additionally, the community of users is a built-in support network for your analysts. If you don’t have an in-house expert on a particular topic, community user groups, and the new slack workspace are great ways to find insight on how to approach different topics.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to dislike. When you are completely integrated with Tableau, down servers or other tech hiccups can really halt your workflow, but that is the case with any tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is democratizing data for us. From virtual connections to transformations in prep, Tableau is enabling us to put data directly into the hands of our analysts to do what they know to do best!
A great product to visualize data easily

Easy integration with Excel, ability to manipulate data in the same platform and lots of ways to present data in an appealing manner to audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limits on the amount of data it can have before performance issues start to occur.

Helps visualize data nicely when presenting to my boss. Easily navigate and filter data to answer multiple questions.

Tableau has an easy to start ui to get your data sources visualized

The ui is organized and easy to read, but without knowledge of the dataset, tableau without ai cannot help you

Need something better than excel to show database visualizations

Visualizing data and painting a picture that can solve questions efficiently
What do you dislike about the product?
Simple tasks that are easier in other tools are overly complex (rounded corners have to be built by image or annotations).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Tableau for multiple different project types and data sets such as our readmission and demographic data. This helps us understand what areas( or demographic features) and diagnosis need to be focused on.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau makes it easy to be a data analyst. It’s fairly user friendly and the visuals are very clean and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau has its quirks and it can be frustrating trying to achieve a specific task that I have in mind. It will require a specific sequence or verbiage to make it happen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get questions and requests from management and Tableau allows me to quickly and efficiently provide answers and visual representations.

It can be difficult to learn advanced calculations

Some tips is not so intuitive. Conditional formatting still hard. Subscription can only send the screen not included the scroll down

I think it’s a great product and makes my life easier when uncovering insights within the data I work with.

Sometimes I have to go out and research various workarounds because it doesn’t do exactly what I wanted.
