Poor technical support & Auto-renewal Refund Refused
What do you like best about the product?
I am very unhappy with the Veeam Data Platform. The system requires far too much maintence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the unhelpful account reps, unhelpful technical support reps and the immoral auto renewal system Veeam uses to abdicate responsibiltiy for its payment practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Veeam Data Platform is not solving any problems that I can't sovle another, more efficent way.
Excellent backup and restoration software
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Veeam is it's simple setup and how quick you can get off the ground to start using the product.
I've used many various pieces of backup technology over the years, but I can't sing Veeam's praises high enough.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I didn't initially like about Veeam was the inability to perform 15 minute incremental backups like StorageCraft, that said if you utilise shadow copies, then you have nothing to worry about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everything in one place and ensuring quality products. Previous software has always hidden things away with different bits of software or having to use different platforms to maintain the backups.

it is easy for use to setup the backup stertage and simplifed tools make backup admin job easy. it gives more visiual to understand the task schedules

the over all software package size is bit high.

its solved online backup - i can take my users backup anywhere from internet

Backup for Office 365 performance can be improved. The Explorer app / browser is sometimes slow to respond when attempting restores. More SaaS backup support could help!

We need a solution that allows us to emcompass both backup and DR and Veeam B&R provides this out of the box.

Veeam ONE's setup is easy and takes only 30 minutes to complete. It doesn't require any maintenance and needs only one engineer to do the setup.

What do you dislike about the product?
The CPU/Compute resources that may require run extreme compresion for backups and the deployment complex models with hybryd enviroments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fisical issues impaction bare metals servers with Windows Server or even Virtual Machines can be easily recovered in a great time.
A tool useful to monitor infrastructures and for backup purposes that needs to improve its deployment process

At the moment, I face difficulties when trying to deploy Veeam ONE because my active directory restricts some particular rights.
In general, the solution needs to have lesser limitations.
The technical support of the product needs to be faster.

It is difficult to deploy Veeam ONE. I think Veeam ONE is a good product to supervise and monitor infrastructure and for backup purposes.

The solution is deployed on-premises.
In the upcoming month, we have plans to deploy it on Azure Cloud.
There was no particular process we opted for deployment.

Our company receives the product at a good price from one of Veeam's integrators, so we don't need to pay the price of the solution declared to the general public.
On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the price a five.

Veeam ONE is a good product for its supervising capacity, management capabilities, and monitoring purposes.

Basically any technically competent person can set up an VB&R and have reliable VMware ESXi VM backups in a few hours.

The configuration process for making a "backup copy" of the "primary backup" is not very intuitive and confusing.

Deduplication ratio, direct-to-tape backup unavailable, lack of technical support, NAS Synology not supported for backup purposes, tiering between on-prem and cloud repositories to maintain 3-2-1.

Lower cost, optimised daily operations, user-friendly GUI, centralised management, direct backup to S3 object, database restoration explorer, AD restoration explorer.
