The best solution for Backup and Disasters
What do you like best about the product?
The Veeam Backup is the best solution in the world, because it is easy to use and all solutions integrated with the product such as SOBR (Backup Tier) .
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike but I suggest more training to licensing.

Local backup and tier to cloud.

What do you dislike about the product?
Linux agents cannot send email notifications so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backups.
Ability to restore a file, a folder, a volume or complete VM is great. Other than that, instant Veeam Recovery option form backups directly is something which is taking lead from all other backup softwares.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup and Replication has a well-structured and scalable architecture that covers simple to very complex environments. IT professionals can have affordable and secure backups, immutable backups, flexible and safe restore methods and the chance to migrate workloads across different platforms, such as on-premise physical servers to on-cloud virtual machines and many other combinations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The architecture on which Veeam Backup and Replication is built requires reading several hundreds of pages and following webinars and courses; it's costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam Backup and Replication make me feel safer, and I can sleep more serenely.

symple to use, very powerful application, it save me from big trouble when other software fails,raccomanded, very stable ,open to other platforms, some aspect and graphic shuold be better. veeam community is very big and support is very fast.

graphical interface in some occasion is not user friendly

it solve the managing of our business backups , it can recover single files, single record database, every thing is automated .it can write on tape lto . we used before veeam ,other enterprise software and we have a lot of problem .with veeam all is ok now
Good Software with even better Support
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about this software, while using it over the years, is that I've always gotten great support. Minor concerns and failures and time-critical problems have always gotten appropriate attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Infrastructure limits your ability to update on newer versions. In the past, this has sometimes been an issue while fixing an ongoing problem together with the support agents. A little more understanding of the sometimes necessary use of older versions would be desirable here. But not a big deal in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of nearly any requirement we've got regardings backups. The main focus in our company is backing up the virtual on-premise infrastructure and NAS-Storage systems storing data and network device configuration backups.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a very easy to use solution, you really don't have to be a storage expert to be able to use this tool. The dashboard is so well structured that everything is made easy.

To have a backup repository very easy to manage, and to make configurations for tuning, it is really very easy. The ways of connection are common iSCSI and SMB.
Veeam Backup & Replication - Gold standrd for enterprise backup needs
What do you like best about the product?
Very robust and reliable backup solution that integrates well with our Exagrid backup appliance. Support for data deduplication and compression, backup schedule, and ability to replicate to both on-prem and cloud DR sites. It supports replication and has a very easy-to-use and configured interface where there isn't much of a learning curve. In addition, Veeam offers excellent support when you run into problems, which assures you that problems will be solved in a reasonable amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like with every software, sometimes there are glitches. I wish there were a better snapshot management option when the backup fails for some reason. From time to time, there needs to be a snapshot cleanup within VMware virtual environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam is our primary backup solution for all our virtual machines and specific physical servers. With Veeam, we have set backup and replication policies with minimal backup maintenance. It also allows us to recover specific user files on the file level.
In addition, replication policies are automated where our DR site has up-to-date copies of our most critical virtual workloads.

The backup Processing speed is outstanding. I find it much faster than their biggest competitor

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Veeam Data Platform is very easy to use and the integration process is fast. The support is also very responsive 24/7. It's really important to me that when restoring critical data, it’s done easily and quickly, and with Veeam Data Platform, I feel confident that complicated processes won't get in the way of having a helpful backup solution. The initial setup was super easy, taking maybe just one week, which was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't use the orchestrator as we have already another solution for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Veeam Data Platform for backup and recovery to protect against issues caused by employees or systems and against cyber attacks. It ensures easy and quick restoration of critical data, making it a reliable backup solution.
