Backups run without issue and restores are quick and easy to perform.

sometimes, the errors are not very understandable, the failure mail is send before all retry are made so the mail say that it fail but it worked

Top choice for free backup solution in small Hyper-V environment
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, experience with management console where everything is put in one place feels really great.
I love the functionality of multiple backup storage locations and stored accounts for accessing different virtual machines.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much not to like, to be honest. After a short period of getting to know the environment, it just works as expected.
Maybe just one thing - when you define notifications in the central console, you're not aware at first that you don't have to define them again in every single backup task.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, it's fast. Especially after the first full backup, it works like no other backup solution I have experience with.
Then there is recovery - I had to recover one small virtual HCL Domino Server partially, and it went as it was supposed to.
Also, it is great to have one management console for two clustered Hyper-V servers, and it's free.

It does the job for small virtual environments in a really easy and fully automated way. And of course, when it comes to recovery - everything works well.
The feeling is that for small environments, you get enterprise-class backup software for free.

Veeam Backup & Replication Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup & Replication has a light and simple management interface. Also, I can find a lot of documents and fix my problems. Backup, replication, and failover operations can be configured easliy. Job tracking is detailed and descriptive. Disaster and disaster test scenarios can be applied simply. In summary, I can say that it is simple and fast. Platform-independent working flexibility is a big advantage. I didn't use Cloud but I believe it brings more flexibility. Community support and trial opportunities make it easier to install and learn the product in demo environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam management console takes a long time to open on windows. It needs to be opened faster for management flexibility and quick actions. Also, web interface support would be great. I think it should be improved on database backup. database backup can be confusing for system users. I prefer it to publish it as a virtual appliance with all its configurations done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can start virtual server replications quickly and easily. Thanks to its flexible structure, we can back up to many data storage systems. Thanks to the ease of management, we reduce the time for users to adapt to the management interface.

Very easy to install manage n integrate. Support is great as well

Nothing, for now, we are still testing the product with our cloud

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is relatively easy to install and works well with vCenter. The backups are fast and so far seem reliable. Their community addition provides many features for free but stepping up to a paid version is necessary if you have more than ten targets to backup. It is an excellent tool for backups!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, there is nothing that I dislike about the product. The only thing that might be an issue is if your backup destination is a cheap NAS, you may experience errors. I initially used a Buffalo Terastation Pro with AWS replication as the backup destination. Veeam was reporting errors which seemed to be an issue with the NAS. After adjusting the NAS, the backup errors went away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I am only utilizing the Backup feature of Veeam. The solution is providing a seven-day backup cycle of our infrastructure. We are able to provide local and offsite backup in case of an emergency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend starting with their community edition and testing the product first.

What do you like best about the product?
Creating daily backups of important data has never been easier and faster. The software has a clear, clean and feature-rich interface. It offers many features at a very low price.

Nothing, this software is straightforward to use. Unlike other programs this is cross-platform and does not require engineers for its installation and configuration

I have avoided the loss of valuable data for my work. In the past, I have had to spend a lot of time and money to recover lost data but since using this program i solved my problems

Ease of new task configuration. It is simple to follow.

It does not have the functionality of incremental backup and avoiding multiple file types in a folder.

What do you like best about the product?
very user friendly, very accurate and reliable

the way to update the software, instead of having to download the entire package to update maybe then can issues patches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solving the backup problem, and I have realized that with Veeam you can do backup and replicate the VMs to other hosts for redundancy.
