The most user friendly bank for startups
What do you like best about the product?
Brex has a fantastic interface. Easy to use and sign up. I especially love the rewards section, where I get fabulous benefits for using Brex for my business payments. They update their look and feel often and hear users' feedback closely. They are surely building something users want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have more roles and permissions for my team so that I can delegate more things withing the platform. For example, have team leaders issue cards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to schedule payments to vendors easily and control spending on our different teams. Slack integration to upload invoices, receipts and memos works really well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would have a standard bank account and a Brex account and use them jointly. Brex has a very user friendly platform and all of the functionalities are really easy to use. However, the yield on the investment part of the account is not as attractive as the one offered by Silicon Valley Bank.

Customer Services is a bit late is responding sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy for our payment processors to deposit into Brex. The money is deposited into brex as soon as it hits the bank.

Go for Brex. Brex comes with powerful software designed to help you automate your accounting and manage spend at scale.

They were too slow to update transactions.

No credit check. Easy to issue both physical and virtual cards.

No manager level access. Only user and Admin. There is also a bookkeeper access. Generally only issues Mastercard. You can get a Visa but you have to ask for it.

Better than paying out reimbursements to staff for daily purchases.

My friend recommended this service as I could send the money for free, but in fact, they charge more than other banks. Also, I opened many cases with support and I am already waiting for weeks to get a response.

What do you like best about the product?
The most intriguing part of brex is their attention to non US resident client. The seamless effort in reaching support is top notch.
Another important feature about brex is the peace of mind you get knowing fully well that the funds in your account will always be safe, because you have the option to block Unauthorized ACH debit. And card transaction won’t process if the merchant isn’t whitelisted by you. Overall their ACH is good and on time. And the credit card limit are awesome based on your cash flow thereby helping you have more insight into your spending pattern.

Everyone dislike a declined charge as it can be embarrassing. But at the same time it’s for our safety so I appreciate it. For now no dislike still using and testing out all features of brex

On time payment, the receipt feature is a A plus for me. And the zero fees on wire transfers are awesome too
The Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced
What do you like best about the product?
At first the simplicity and ease of use, until they disabled my account with no warning and no explanation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Extremely poor customer service, ambiguity, utter lack of transparency. My experience with Brex was by far the worst I've ever had with any service provider. After one transaction they suspended my account and held all my funds - no explanation, questioning, or any communication at all. All service representatives either refused to talk to me because "I may or may not have violated something in our agreement," or were simply completely oblivious. All this while they held onto my funds. After days of miscommunication and fighting on my end, for a right to my own money, they unsuspended my account. No explanation, no apology, just silence. I am baffled that in the year 2021 any service provider can offer this poor level of customer service. I was spoken to like a criminal for a mistake on their end. My trust in them as the holders of my livelihood was completely violated, and I do not recommend using their services. Competitors like Ramp and Divvy are far better, far more transparent, and far more trustworthy.

A Great Working Capital Management Tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I tend to see this card as a debit card on steroids. The credit card features and the rewards system rivals some top tier business credit cards without the high annual fees. In other words, you get the benefits of both. I think a lot of the disgruntled users need to understand that this card is mainly designed to help you build working capital, manage the working capital and build a savings at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Brex should market this product to transportation entrepreneurs like truck drivers and limo chauffeurs. Reward points for fuel, meals, and lodging would be extremely valuable to these professionals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above. Brex is helping me build my working capital and targeting my expenses to key areas in my business.

Overall, I think this is a great card for a startup. And a great tool for building and managing working capital.

Cash Management, Card Management, Bill Payments, Accelerated Payments, and Corporate Credit Cards.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Assess the cost-saving in addition to the service benefits. BREX has so many built-in integrations that there is a high likelihood your company will save money by using BREX in addition to all the other benefits.
