Comprehensive Back Office Solution with Smooth Integration

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Deltek Costpoint offers complete solutions for managing all aspects of our back-office operations. It features automated billing and accounts payable processes, which significantly streamline our financial workflows. The great project reporting capabilities are another highlight, providing clear insights into project status and performance. Overall, Deltek Costpoint efficiently solves our cash flow issues while ensuring smooth operation across various departments. The transition to using Deltek Costpoint was smooth and well-planned, with the setup process taking as little as thirty to ninety days to be up and running. This ease of implementation is supported by Celerity, making the transition even more straightforward. I am highly satisfied with the product's ability to automate and integrate my team's back-office tasks seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing formulas in Deltek Costpoint could be improved. Additionally, the interfaces with other products could function more effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Deltek Costpoint to manage our whole back office, improving cash flow through automated billing, accounts payable, and project reporting.

Hard to upgrade. Sometimes hard to locate screens to mirror what tables you find in the database.

CP can be hit or miss but is perfect for the right client

What do you like best about the product?
I like CPs ability to sort of flow like water, the ability to build out your own mods to fit your businesses needs and projects is definitely a big key. It's also important from a compliance standpoint which Deltek and CP lead the industry .
What do you dislike about the product?
As am implementor and service provider I feel at times CP can be too much for a client which is why vantage is great. I feel as there has been new UX changes that has made improvements on things I disliked. Also feel not the product itself but rather dealing with help desk when something does break. It's like pulling teeth. Also right now the update schedule is rough on many clients especially smaller ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That's hard to define as an implementation partner... I mean it's what feeds us and keeps us in business.

I've always been able to reach out anx get timely halp. CP is keeping up with our need in API support for our integration and extensibility
What do you dislike about the product?
Limits in cloud vs onprem capability updates.

Becoming more intuitive. Dela is a neat feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to go to multiple screens to get answers. App needs to include benefit enrollment as part of self service.

User friendly, constantly improving product
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how they are constantly changing the user interface design. Each time it changes, we have to update all of our screenshots in all of our DOPs.

The rollout of Dela will be a huge process improvement for our team.
