What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Deltek Costpoint the most. It's easy to find anything I need in the timesheet module, making the process of tracking our employees' time relatively painless. If edits need to be made due to incorrect postings, it's easy to correct and have employees re-sign timesheets. We can efficiently manage timesheet management, payroll, and posting labor distributions with reduced staff. Once you learn the processes, it's an easy and efficient system to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything about Costpoint. However, I will say that I recently completed several Costpoint certificates on the Deltek Learning Hub and didn't receive the badge or certification email upon completion. I completed the Costpoint Silver Business Intelligence Report Authoring Certification Exam, and also the Costpoint Silver Labor Management Certification exam but didn't receive the badge or certification email for completing these two exams. The automated email stated that I should receive them within a 48 hour period, but it's been greater than that timeframe and I still haven't received. Do you know who I would need to contact or reach out to to receive these certificates?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deltek Costpoint organizes and simplifies processes like timesheet management, making tracking time easy and correcting errors painless, while improving overall ease of use and efficiency with less staff.

User-Friendly Interface: Even with its comprehensive feature set, Costpoint has a user-friendly interface that keeps navigation intuitive for users at any experience level. The customizable dashboards let us tailor the system to our specific needs, so we can reach the information we need quickly and work more efficiently.

The AI is still lagging and sometimes it can be difficult for Dela to get to eh correct page.

Scalability: As our organization has grown, Costpoint has scaled right along with us. Its flexible architecture makes it easy to add new modules and features as our needs evolve, so we can continue to rely on it as a long-term solution.

Deltek Costpoint is one of the most robust government contracting software options available. It also includes helpful guardrails that guide users as they navigate compliance requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system includes features that ensure compliance with government contracting rules. However, this also makes it less user-friendly for end users when they’re completing expense reports or timesheets.
