What do you like best about the product?
Configure it right and it will consistently and accurately do what it is supposed to do. Results are trustworthy and auditable for government contractors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Error messages are not always helpful. High level of training is needed for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a high level of confidence that government audits will be passed. Data is integrated and can be trusted.

The support system. Number of features, ease of use.

It takes more than 5 sometimes 6 emails to get through to solution discussion

Cost incurred in one system and flow to invoices

Sometimes not intuitive to correct issues

How long it takes to process cost and submit invoice to customer
Difficult to learn, but does everything.

It does everything ERP in one place. Deltek is improving user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface/experience. Modernization available in 8.2 is better already and Deltek is focused on more improvements in this area producing cause for Hope.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily user interface. As an admin, my chief problem is complaints from users because they don't truly understand how the system work, what the messages are trying to tell them and what they need to do about it.

Some applications are too difficult and not intuitive enough. .

Looks very financey. An improved UI, would be more welcoming to people that don't frequent Costpoint.

Costpoint helps streamline the purchasing process.

Entering time is pretty easy. The purchase process is simple and seems to be getting better with the new version.

Pulling data into reports and spreadsheets is difficult sometimes.

BI would help a lot with reports. Interactive emails sound great for timesheets.
