Great features, but takes some effort to utilize
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to assign emails, tag people in emails, and the ability to filter emails and "close" them out. All great features for working with a team, where a lot of hands will touch various aspects of communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there was a better organization option for when there are multiple folders. I have a lot of tags to organize my emails, and it can be easy to get lost. I would also wish for a general, all unread inbox to ensure that I'm not missing anything going through filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing that's getting solved is communication internally on who owns a particular email, or conversation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The biggest hurdle is overcoming the practices and habits that we all have with emails.

That we can continue to use Gmail but still have a shared inbox—work where you work everyday but still work together
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, Hiver does exactly what we need it to do
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working together in sales, customer support within your normal Gmail inbox without introducing a new tool. Customers can just write you to your normal email address but you can still share the knowledge.

limited reporting, not able to assign emails without opening them

Our team loves Hiver! It has been the answer to most of our problems working with a high volume shared inbox in a fast paced environment

Getting all the emails at one email address and assigning them becomes easy
What do you dislike about the product?
If someone closes the email then it is closed for everyone.

It helps a lot at all the department levels
Great task assignment tool for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver allows easy assignment of tasks to team members (assignee and status are visible to the entire team) and allows team members to share updates and tag individuals as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you receive request responses to assigned emails that do not require actions, you currently still have to go into each ticket and manually close out to update the status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allow for team member to easily assign emails to individuals as tasks. In addition, assignee have the ability to track and update status of the email which is visible to rest of the team.

What do you like best about the product?
Hiver is awesome! It's super helpful when it comes to scheduling emails and working with a team and a shared inbox. Definitely makes all of our workdays easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the icons in my gmail inbox disappear, could be a gmail glitch though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working collaboratively as a team to solve the many emails that come into shared boxes. It's a great way to keep organized and stay on top of the multiple inquiries that come through.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's an excellent tool and very simple to use. I highly recommend it for a collaborative team effort, super easy to see who is grabbing what tickets on a team.

What do you like best about the product?
Hiver makes it super easy to configure multiple inboxes to support cross-team efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the extension doesn't play well with Chrome!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing incoming messages from hundreds of people in different states / territories. Hiver makes it easy to segment these out by different inboxes and ensure each email gets a response by ensuring accountability via tagging. We never forget to respond, and no more leads slipping through the cracks.
Hiver makes my work day much easier
What do you like best about the product?
I like that hiver allows you organize support emails for each team member and categorize them. I also love the feature that allows you to send email templates. It really makes my job much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it can have problems with connecting to the server and there are a few issues whenever a chrome update occurs. Other than that its smooth sailing.

Hiver allows us to be more efficient in answering support emails.

Easy design for a seamless shared inbox
What do you like best about the product?
I like how clean it makes the mailbox and how it is constantly evolving - such as adding "all messages"

I dislike how it does not blend with folders I had previously
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving ease of communication between co-workers, we are able to track response time and divide tasks in a way that was not easy before.

Definitely use for a shared inbox, makes sure no e-mail goes unread.
