Streamlining Gmail Like Never Before - A Hiver Review
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver has revolutionized the way I manage my Gmail inbox, and I couldn't be more impressed. The standout feature for me is the seamless collaboration it enables within Gmail. Shared inboxes and the ability to assign emails to team members have transformed our communication workflow. It's incredibly easy to track who is handling what, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
The snooze feature is another game-changer. With a single click, I can temporarily remove an email from my inbox and have it return at a time of my choosing. This has significantly improved my productivity by helping me prioritize tasks effectively.
The shared notes and tags feature is a brilliant addition, making it effortless to leave comments and provide context within the email thread. It's like having a built-in communication platform right within Gmail, enhancing collaboration without the need for external tools.

Nothing specific, maybe only that the notification of assigned emails won't go away if you open it directly from the inbox and not from the Hiver Notifications

Team Collaboration and Organization
What do you like best about the product?
It allows our team members to collaborate easily and quickly within a single space versus forwarding emails, etc. It has improved the overall lifecycle time of our customer interactions. We use Hiver daily and it was an extremely easy solution to switch over to. Hiver's support has been invaluable and so helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have some team members who do not utilize Hiver but still access the email inboxes. Hiver does not communicate with Gmail to archive emails that we have responded to already within Hiver so the regular Gmail inboxes look messy and as if no one is actually taking care of the emails at first glance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had multiple email inboxes that we accessed as well as multiple team members who accessed them. This has allowed us more transparency in our communication, an easier support experience for customers, and also a much easier experience for us instead of having to forward emails all the time, etc.

Simple, Effective, Great support
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity. After using Zendesk Zoho and Freshdesk, I undertood our business needs were a lot "smaller" than most of these desk platforms offer. For a small team like ours Hiver was exactly the solution we needed: stay in gmail and have access to shared inbox with the same logic: ticket status, notes, and analytics.
Plus, connecting Chats Whatsapp and email in one place for 39$ per user, noto only a lot cheaper than the competitors but also way easier. Highlight to their 24hours chat support, that was probably the most important thing. Crazy that you "need support to provide support", anytime I need anything from Hiver team, 2 clicks and I'm on a chat with them. I was tired of waiting for days, any answer from Zoho team.

The fact that is not necessary to CC everyone you need to have access to an email information, just having it at a shared inbox and have that person as an user of the box is enough.

Easy to Use But you need the right License
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of great features, including the automations, round-robin assignments, approval workflows, knowledge base, and more. However, many of these are locked behind the highest license level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting is hard to understand or they don't take enough time during onboarding to help you understand what you want to track and guide you how to get it. Also, any custom reports are locked until you get the highest license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping things not get lost in a shared inbox. Being able to quickly see what is still unworked has been amazing.
Hiver has streamlined our collaborative inbox and eliminated duplicated work efforts of 10 people.
What do you like best about the product?
It integrates the ability to monitor a shared inbox without leaving your regular gmail screen. I was also able to deploy it to the entire team wihtout needing access to their individual computers. The live 24/7 support has also always been available to help me when I have a question. Best of all, the user interface is very intuitive, meaning very little time or effort was needed to deploy it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is high for what I was expecting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides accountability as each member of the team now knows what the others are doing. It also saves duplicated efforts of having multiple people reviewing each email that comes in.

What do you like best about the product?
Great turn around time when contacting support. Everyone is very knowledgable and can fix a problem very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've run into the same problem twice where my "user" email address is not the correct one that logs into Hiver.

We use Hiver for compliance monitoring and to assist our sales team.
