Inbox, Upgraded: My Hiver Experience

What do you like best about the product?
The best part to me about Hiver is that it has a free budget. I am part of a smaller nonprofit organization and that free part comes in handy. Its serves its purpose for what I need it for and it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the Knowledge Base should be more available to the Free version users. I could easily use it for my end users but its under a paid version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver takes all of my IT requests and organizes it for me so that it doesn't get lost in all my other emails. I get quite a few emails during the day and a lot altogether during the week so it helps to be able to find these requests easily.

What do you like best about the product?
We've had a great experience using Hiver for customer service. The platform made it incredibly easy to manage our shared inbox and respond to customer inquiries efficiently. Assigning emails to team members, tracking conversations, and collaborating internally without forwarding threads has been a game-changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, we just ended up using a built in Shopify app instead that was free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver has helped us deliver faster, more consistent support, and it's made a noticeable impact on our customer satisfaction. Highly recommend for any team looking to simplify and improve their email-based support.

Hiver for Outlook

What do you like best about the product?
Hiver is very helpful organizing a shared account inbox. Hiver is an excellent tool to improve email management and collaboration. The ability to add comments, assign emails, and set up the follow up tasks improves internal communication, especially for our remote teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hiver version for outlook is not as great as the gmail. You can do limited things in the outlook version. When you respond from your email, it will make another thread again, ending up with lots of duplicates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What is great about hiver is their fast and helpful support. They answer right away and find alternative solutions to your issue.

Hiver for Outlook falls a bit short

What do you like best about the product?
I had previously used Hiver for Gmail via the web extension and it worked perfectly for keeping my team organized and assigning tasks. Currently the Hiver HQ site offers a fundamentally similar experience for my Team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Hiver HQ and Hiver for Outlook just do not seem to be as well optimized as this tool was for Gmail. Several Key features seem to be missing in terms of customizability and function is just overall worse. For example , when attempting to search through older emails I am often given a "Please come back later " request.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver at it's core is great for allowing my team to track incoming emails to our shared mailbox as well as Tagging and Assigning those emails to our team

What do you like best about the product?
Hiver allows us to manage our shared email alias seamlessly without the need to switch to a separate platform. The ability to assign emails to specific team members, add internal notes, and track email statuses (open, pending, closed) has helped us ensure accountability and avoid duplicated efforts. It has essentially turned our inbox into a light but effective helpdesk.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, one drawback we've noticed is that Hiver can slow down the Gmail interface, especially when handling a high volume of emails or switching between conversations. While the features are helpful, the performance lag can occasionally disrupt workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an Employer Relations team, we rely heavily on email to coordinate with employers, students, and internal stakeholders. Using Hiver to manage our shared email alias has significantly improved the way we handle incoming messages and team collaboration.

Hiver allows us to assign emails, track progress through status updates, and use internal notes to communicate without forwarding or duplicating emails. The shared visibility and accountability have helped us reduce response times and prevent tasks from slipping through the cracks. Features like email tags, templates, and analytics add further value by making our communication more structured and consistent.

What do you like best about the product?
Th ebest part of Hiver is teh tagging feature. With the help of this tool, we can use gmail as a shortcut for internal converstation.

They can make the email taggeing quite better. Few features seems same as gmail.
