Organized and Better Communication
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver has really helped my team become more organized and our meetings are smoother thanks to Hiver's shared email folders. Now we can clearly see who is assigned what.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be convenient if an email could be assigned to more than one person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Hiver, our communications were a bit of a mess. Sometimes, it would take us weeks to get back to one email. Now that we can assign emails, our communication between each other is more streamlined.
Great for small teams looking to share emails
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver is very easy for assigning emails to colleagues whilst allowing for easy access to all the shared emails if necessary.
The ability to add notes to emails is great and Hiver integrates seamlessly into Gmail.
The support team are also very quick to respond to any questions you may have.

Sometimes I wish there were some additional shortcuts to make certain tasks a little quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a solution to going from a single person's mailbox to a shared team mailbox when our company grew from 1 person to 2 people and now to 3 people.
Great gmail addon to simply your life
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver makes it really easy to assign email to a team member. No emails are lost ! I also love the email templates function, it saves me hours of typing repetitive emails

It is a great google addon, there is nothing i don't like about it

Saving me plenty of time, no emails get lost, we can assign emails to the right team member within seconds

Excellent add-on for a team email box in Gmail
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver allows a team to use a group email box in Gmail much more efficiently than through the default Gmail experience. You can assign emails to individuals, track status, and view/respond to team emails from your personal email box. It also partitions assigned emails from the main box, which helps reduce clutter. Administrators can create reports on response times, activity, etc to get an idea of how the team is working and what areas can be improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are required to use Conversation view, which is a minor limitation compared to the functionality you get. When an email chain is assigned to you, if responses come in it will go directly to your section of the group box; normally this is great but it can be an issue when someone is out of the office and emails are going directly to that person instead of to the group box. You'll need to reassign email chains and have someone monitor your box while you're out to make sure emails aren't missed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team moved to Gmail from Outlook recently, and the default Gmail experience was not working well for us. The group email box was very difficult to navigate; there was no good way to assign emails and we couldn't filter out our own emails so keeping track was challenging. Hiver allows us to work in our own space in the shared box and we can have team emails in our personal email box at the same time. We can also add comments to emails when assigning to give background or ask questions. Hiver makes Gmail much more streamlined and adds some functionality we didn't have in Outlook.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're part of a good-sized team and deal with high email volume, Hiver will be a great improvement on Gmail.

Communication breakdowns and conversations that used to take place in email are now done on the side!

It helps to organize your work by assigning tasks/emails to team members.

Nothing at the moment. It is a very well created software to manage emails.

No problem at all.
The email remains in the inbox until or unless it is closed and replied. So it basically reminds you of your pending task to be completed.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability for all subsequent emails forming part of one conversation to be assigned only to the team member handling the issue is terrific! Cuts out all the time spent reading emails intended for another team member, just to determine if it's for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
About the only downside we haven't been able to overcome so far is being able to assign one email chain to more than one internal stakeholder at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our 6 admininstration staff were each reviewing 100+ emails a day which came into our Shared Inbox. At 15 seconds each, we calculated that at over 400 hours wasted every year reading emails, just to find out they weren't intended for you. Implementing Hiver cut that wasted time to virtually zero almost instantly.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked how Hiver has given access to so many people making it a common pool so that the customer's queries are dealt with on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the Email templates tab doesn't pop up so I think the team should work on that! Other than the software is just amazing :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We at our Company deal with lots of emails and Hiver helps us in solving the issue by making the pool common so everyone has access to it.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is being able to assign an email to someone else, and put comments in for them. This saves so much time not having to compose separate emails to discuss that one email. Much more efficient!
What do you dislike about the product?
The notifications should pop up rather than being a button on the top right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Minimizing the touchpoints on a single email or issue is key. It's been very helpful to our team to have joint control and ability to pinpoint exactly who should be assigned that task.
My 3 Years Experience With Hiver
What do you like best about the product?
Since we have been using Hiver. We have had the best support possible. Anything issues or request that we occur. They either try to resolve it or try to implement an integration that works for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things I personally dislike is when seeing all the emails that are sent out by me. It is quite difficult as it brings up the search for all users email that was sent out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing multiple users in multiple inboxes on one platform. This allow us to have over 50 users logged into 1 Gmail account without locking us out due to a heavy amount of users logging into the inbox.
