Awesome for teams!

What do you like best about the product?
Having a shared inbox may seem a little odd at first, but when working in a team, it is a great solution. Hiver allows me and my coworkers to share emails in a snap, leave notes on emails for each other when needed, and to be transparent in our work (I.e. we can see what email conversation we are apart of, to whom we've been in contact with, and our average daily workload).
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside I have experienced a handful of times is my Hiver extension crashing. However, it is important to keep in mind that technology is ever-changing and "bugs" are inevitable. Luckily, all issues I have run into have been fixed within hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver's Analytics page is awesome. It allows for our team to gauge our workload during our busy season and utilize the information for future planning.

Great software, never have to leave Gmail

What do you like best about the product?
This is the help desk software application to use for those wanting everything integrated right in their Gmail account. It's seamless, a breeze to work with, and gets the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it does exactly what I need it to do for our small business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to be able to have a single email address (support@) that receives our email, and that multiple staff members can access and assign tickets amongst themselves (and transfer to other reps) - all without leaving Gmail.

Hiver enables critical business processes

What do you like best about the product?
Hiver allows our teams to manage complex processes with organization and accountability. Our individual team members like having their "work to be done" in one place, and our managers appreciate the visibility they get. This has allowed us to build trust between teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are operating at a large scale, so manually triaging messages is very time-consuming (multiple FTE). It would be better if we were able to do auto-assignments based on text in the body of the email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have recently consolidated our operations and support team, but each team member still has a defined set of responsibilities. When issues come into the central team, we are able to route the message to the right person quickly. We solve issues with clear AORs and without letting things slip through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how intuitive it is to use, it is really easy to pick up on and train new employees on so we can dive into working on tasks rather than battling with an inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the hiver inbox disconnects from Gmail and needs to be readded. Also, if an employee deletes an email from hiver, it is deleted from everyone else's inboxes as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to pass tasks from one employee to another is super easy with hiver. Tracking how many emails an individual employee has completed, as well as being able to view all threads on that email has been a great tool as a manager to conduct QA

What do you like best about the product?
--The ability to add notes to an assigned email is crucial.

--Ability to review Closed emails and follow the path of activity of Staff who handled that email.

--Hiver Team is continuously upgrading ( Think Apple Updates ). Easiest method to activate update!

What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a negative issue on our workflow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We merge two emails, which include orders. There is a smooth sharing of emails amongst the team and the flow is efficient, trackable, and reviewable.

This allows the team to work remotely
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a workflow email with remote workers, this is a must.

What do you like best about the product?
I thought implementing Hiver would be a pain and take days or weeks to get up to speed and to get team buy-in. Nope. We implemented in an afternoon and were fully deployed with team buy-in by the next business day. And their support is great when you have questions or want to explore some of their other powerful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue we have run into has to do with the syncing of emails to all team members that use the shared inbox even if they are not including in the To: line of a reply or forward. I understand why (because you want team members to have all the context for the conversation thread). But, occasionally a team member may see a message that was not intended for them at all. It's a training issue to make sure your team understands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems other than what was already mentioned. Benefits? Easy shared inbox management. Standardized, shared templates make customer support inquiries easy and fast to respond to AND the answers are the best-practice answers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just do it. It's a low-risk, easy implementation. Play with it for a few days. You won't regret it.

Great collaboration tool!

What do you like best about the product?
Hiver allows our team to have full transparency. We don't have to worry about someone being left off the email thread. We are all on the same page and are all kept in the loop.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where there is a lag between when one user receives an email and when the others do. This is noticeable when we are all working at the same time and someone is already replying to something before the other users even see the original email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver has solved the issue of needing multiple users to be able to view and respond to emails as they come in. This is beneficial to the customers because they have one email address to use and whoever is available at that time is able to respond ASAP.

What do you like best about the product?
It works organically with gmail, supports keyboard shortcuts, automations is a great feature to save up time. I like that it uses gmail labels to organize everything, so we can setup multiple inboxes based on hiver labels etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to say something, I'd say that in a few RARE cases when the email contains a large width image the side panel gets in the way hiding the action buttons.
Another thing that is not actually a dislike, but a feature request: I'd like to see keyboard shortcut to apply tags to emails (and they already told me that this feature is in their roadmap).
And also, I'd like to compose emails and be able to determine actions to that email once it gets to the mailbox to avoid it getting there unassigned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're much more organized in our team work regarding email communication.
Now that we can assign a thread to one specific team member, we assure that the email will be replied accordingly by someone who understands the subject (we assign emails based on knowledge/participation/ownership in the matter itself).
Also, the hiver notes are excellent. That feature allows the team to communicate in a "separate but still related" conversation thread so that we compose a better response to the client - avoiding internal emails in the original thread and giving more agility to the process.
Another benefit is that we use hiver in a way that every team member is responsible for assigning an email once it get's to the mailbox. So there is always someone looking at the unassigned emails and assigning accordingly. We're looking into automations now to try and improve our assignment experience.

Sets my organized mind at ease!

What do you like best about the product?
Hiver has really improved my productivity and has taken away the stress I often feel related to my Inbox. Everything is now so easy to find. It completely puts my organized mind at ease and makes me feel much more capable of tackling the tasks at hand. It's a total game changer and truly essential in these current work from home times!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike. I guess all the wasted time I spent sifting through emails before I knew about Hiver. ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I work in several different departments, Hiver has helped me really save a lot of time by being able to easily find messages as each department is assigned an individual mailbox. It's a big time solver for any and all time management and/or communication issues. Communication has improved all around in my work place as result of Hiver. Not only with the people that we email daily but also with fellow colleagues since we can leave internal comments for one another other as well. This is such a great feature!

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics really helps with tracking the amount of emails each staff member is getting through.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes a small delay in the emails coming from the original inbox but it is a rare occurrence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to assign emails to certain staff members means that we can track what each staff member is doing and how efficiently they are working. We previously had to manually count the number of emails each staff member did.
