Affordable CMS for distributed teams
What do you like best about the product?
The visual display of assets in the cloud is nice, and the ability to share files outside of internal teams has also been helpful. Integration with Canva is nice for our teams too. Air team is responsive and they make updates that feel like improvements to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search is lacking. If you don't tag items manually they can be hard to track down. Also, it cannot tell the difference between .ai files and .pdf files of the same name, nor can you visually see an InDesign file so it has to be downloaded to verify it's the right asset or to be reviewed or we use extra space to have PDFs uploaded for each InDesign file. Would be nice to be able to print directly from a file without downloading it first but I understand why that may not be feasable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files across internal and distributed creative teams and our vendors. We don't have a proper shared drive even at HQ, we use Teams, which isn't helpful for creative files and processes so this has been a great tool for us to share and review work.
Love the organization-- it's so much easier to navigate compared to other larger storage site.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it shows a preview of the image folder before you open it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know that I can find anything to complain about
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It serves as a replacement for gogle drive and drop box for creative files such as our branding folders and brand photos.
Great for visual assets storage
What do you like best about the product?
I like how visual the content storage is, and how fast/easy it is to generate share links and organize everything. Our team uses it every day and it definitely helps ease our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the limited amount of seats you can have for such a high price point
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual asset storage and organization, which makes Google Drive feel outdated and non-visual in comparison. It's easier to find the files I need and quickly look through our library of assets.
Air helps my team organize an insane amount of assets.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is nice to look at. I love being able to collect content from people outside our organization using a simple upload link. I like that assets can live in more than one folder without their data being duplicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to keep only single copies of assets. If a duplicate is uploaded, Air should notice and ask if we instead want to simply add this asset to our folder rather than duplicating. It would also be great if color in videos and TIFFs was more accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to store and organize a massive library of photos. Air makes it easy to find what we need quickly.
Love using Air
What do you like best about the product?
how easy it is to uplaod my files for my team
What do you dislike about the product?
there isn't a way to select all the files i want to stack and have them stack those together. I have to do it one at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
putting all of our ads in one place from the creative team to marketing
Air is great
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how simple it is to find my way around the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything I dislike about Air.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great way to view every asset that comes in through our company.
AIR: The Game-Changing DAM Solution Every Company Needs (and Most Can Afford!)
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. It is within my budget as a growing company and it makes my life easier with my team and my clients. Also the customer service (the AIR team) is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides. I do with it had voice search within video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of assets that used to live across so many platforms. Ease of use sharing files with clients and requesting files from designers.
Best sharing platform I've used
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to share and organise as well as the high quality when viewing on air.
What do you dislike about the product?
The commenting feature on assets could be better, I prefer the way frame.io does it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files with people around the world, receiving footage from content creators which stays in that same high quality as when uploaded.
One of the best tool to Manage Assets
What do you like best about the product?
It is very handy and cleaner User Experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it had an App. Also The sidebar should have revamped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So, I have different Work stations (Devices). Sometimes I work on my iPad and somtime on my mac. And I design there and where to save? Just because of Air, I left google drive and started using Air. So I can upload asset from any device. And for sending to vendor it is great
Easy to stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to upload files and create folders and subfolders to stay organized. I like how the interface is clean and shows thumbnails so you can see at a glance what is inside. It's easy to navigate through folders too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "Submit" button in the content collection feature is easy to miss. We sometimes have clients who think they have uploaded their files but forgot to press Submit so we don't get the content we requested.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our visual assets organized and being able to share them with our clients.
