The best file management software for creatives.

  • August 26, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Using Air is literally like a breath of fresh air. It’s file management that helps me see and organize everything visually. I love that I can easily collect content from anyone without them needing an Air account. The website makes it so easy to see everything visually, similar to how Google Photos works. Sub-boards work like folders, and I can stack my projects however I want. I can even give them a thumbnail so that I know what folder I'm working with with just a glance instead of having to read typical tiny text. The review process is another highlight. Adding time-stamped comments on videos makes feedback so much more straightforward, especially when clients are involved. It's everything a digital asset management software should have, and it keeps getting better with new updates and integrations. Air has turned my workflow from a mundane digital mess into a manageable and enjoyable one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked how Air Flow used to be buggy. Syncing would create horrible problems, requiring me to start over from scratch and even lose some files. But I say "used to be" because after several updates, I no longer experience those issues, and it's been smooth since then. I also wish Air would make a Chrome extension so I can save stuff directly to a folder. That would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving my online management of files and digital assets. I can find and view my files with much more ease. I can collect files and feedback all in one place. It is ideal for creatives.

Smooth and useful platform with great onboarding

  • August 25, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Air is particularly helpful for teams that need to manage and collaborate on visual assets efficiently. Its cloud-based platform makes it easy to access, organize, and share digital content from anywhere. The real-time collaboration features, such as flexible annotations and timestamp commenting, streamline the creative process by allowing multiple users to work on the same project simultaneously without the hassle of version control.

Air's integration with tools like Adobe Creative Cloud enhances its utility for our creative team, making it a seamless part of their workflow.

Air's primary upsides are its user-friendly interface and quick onboarding process, which make it accessible even for non-technical users. This simplicity is a significant advantage for our organization that doesn't require the full complexity of traditional DAM systems. The platform's drag-and-drop organization and visual workspace allows for easy asset management, and we have found it to be affordable relative to alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the less useful aspects of Air is its limited search functionality. While it supports basic searches by file name and tags, it lacks more advanced features like text-in-image search and the ability to handle plural terms effectively. Additionally, the manual nature of tagging can be time-consuming,

It does have a relatively smaller feature set compared to more comprehensive DAM systems. We have not found that to be a limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air solves the problem of a previously disorganized and fragmented digital asset management by providing a centralized platform where our team and partners can store, organize, and collaborate on visual assets. We've used Google Drive, but it has limitations in the user interface which is important during frequent and extensive use, leading to inefficiencies and version control issues. Air addresses these challenges by offering a visual-first interface that makes it easy to find and manage assets, as well as real-time collaboration features that streamline creative workflows.

Best affordable DAM for individuals and small teams

  • August 25, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Air is the best affordable DAM that I could find for our non-profit creative department. We can have multiple users with various permissions (including guest users, editors, and anonymous uploaders). Boards are easy to create and manage, and collections can be used to give specific groups of people access to only the relevant assets they need. Migration from our previous DAM was managed by the Air team and was the most seamless experience we've had yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The board/collection permission structure is a little backwards for our team, but we've been able to make it work. Like any DAM, it's not going to fit like a glove, but it has been the closest match to what we need out of everything we've tried.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small creative department in a large non-profit. We need to maintain an ongoing library of photos from events, as well as "evergreen" assets such as logos, graphics, etc. Air helps us collect, organize, and distribute images throughout our organization.

A Game-Changer for Intuitive and Organized Workflow

  • August 25, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Air is a highly intuitive and well-organized platform that has streamlined my workflow. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate, and the thoughtful design ensures that everything I need is readily accessible. Whether I'm managing files or collaborating with a team, Air keeps everything organized and efficient. It's a game-changer for productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback of Air is that it can occasionally be slow to load larger files, which can interrupt the flow of work. While the platform is generally efficient, this lag can be frustrating during time-sensitive tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air solves key issues like cluttered workspaces and inefficient collaboration. Its organized interface makes file management quick and easy, boosting productivity and simplifying your workflow. Plus, seamless sharing features enhance team collaboration, keeping projects on track.

What do you like best about the product?
We absolutely love Air! We are a social media and content creation business that specializes in branding photography so our team is constantly taking and sharing photos - Air has made it so easy to organize all of our images by client and then send a link to share the photos in an easy, use friendly way. Our clients love it and we are so grateful to not have to rely on Dropbox!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of any! It's a great collaboration tool and we use it daily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Auto-Tagging is great

  • August 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Air has excellent auto-tagging and the ability to manually add tags, which saves a lot of time in searching for the right image.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have specialty topics/subjects in your photos, the software will have a hard time coming up with relevant tags for them. So you will need to do more work on your end to add tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of files and edited versions can be a mess. The AI auto-tag features and folders within Air make it easier.

The best repository for handling and maintaining any creative files

  • August 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, once we got our account set up and all of our digital assets connected, we've been able to create boards and share files that clients and prospects can download directly from. The tagging features and ability to organize and share things with the same tags has also made organization improvements so we always ensure that the most current version of a file is available for our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having the ability to use AI to tag images and videos would be next level, also being able to integrate and have the hosted files be used in other areas that we require them on such as eComm websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a location that would allow our files to be store in the cloud and then be able to share links for viewing and downloading.
