The best I've used, but I don't manage photos.
What do you like best about the product?
I think the way the photos are displayed makes it very easy to browse. My use tends to be needing to find a photo of a specific product or setting and if the photos are organized properly my experience of finding what I'm looking for is pretty simple and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the aspects like the stacking versions or the way making boards inside of boards works can be a bit confusing to me but that's just because I don't really do that often. I am more of the end-user in this case instead of a library manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a ton of photos of products and settings that a lot of people need. These photos need to be approved and managed by a singular creative source to be sure they meet creative and copy compliance while still being accessible to the whole team.
Waiting for desktop app
What do you like best about the product?
I like Air's clean interface and version stacking function.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm waiting for a flawless desktop app to be rolled out so that I can integrate with finder menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Old files are overwritten so they don't accidentally get used.

I like using tags to be able to find what we need.

That there is not a log to see what tags were used by specific departments

I am able to quickly find assets I need for the campaigns that I'm wokring on.
Great Platform for Content Sharing, Could Use Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share files easily and organize to different folders and subfolders.
What do you dislike about the product?
When selecting files to upload, sometimes it doesn't loadl properly. Also when renaming files, sometimes it doesn't change even though it says it has been renamed. Not sure if it's because I am using air on my phone and computer at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized data storage for working with different teams and organizations internally and externally.
A great solution for creatives!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to preview files and share them with clients in an easily accessible way! I have been using Air for a few years now and love how easy it is to keep track of files for production uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there was an Air mobile app. The upload process also has a few clicks, rather than drag and drop, which you have to specify for clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a video production agency, so the ability to share files with clients, for them to leave comments, access many different files and sort them by episode is crucial.
Great platform for holding and sharing company assets
What do you like best about the product?
We switched from Google Drive because we needed something easier to use with our thousands of assets. I love that it's easy to search and the AI cataloging is so helpful. It was also easy to get everything moved from Drive into Air.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just like Drive, the folder system can get a bit tough to sort through once it's heavy with assets, but I think that's just par for the course when you have a lot of assets.

Helping us hold and catalog all our company assets for marketing and other use.

Air works well as a central place to share brand assets with my team members, and I like the ability to leave comments right on the assets for shared visibility.
The Only Digital Asset Manager That's Worth It
What do you like best about the product?
Air is a product that after using it for over a year, I can't imagine doing my job without it. Being a designer, the ability to see your photos and digital assets in a such an easy to access way cuts out so much time. Needing to find assets is easier, and you can tell that the whole system was designed to make searching for and updating digital assets as easy could be.
Competitors are so clunky by comparison. Finding photos in Dropbox, for instance, is often an uphill battle from waiting for previews to load, to the unintuitve process for sharing them with your team or externally.
Air is not only the best way to keep track and organize your photos or visual assets, it's also my go-to method for sharing files internally and externally. Far better than WeTransfer which would often expire, or using slow-to-load Microsoft Sharepoint.
The Air team has created a product that is easy to set up, and once you do, you realize how all of the tools you used previously were so duct-taped together to fit your needs. It is a night and day difference to use a program so intentionally designed and catered to the needs of designers as well as Marketing teams that have to move fast and efficiently.
There are few programs that I will advocate for and encourage other professionals to get, and Air is the top of the list.

Organization, Ease of use, saves us time when working with freelancers

Price is expensive, downloading grouped files is not easy as I'd like

I really enjoy the buttery smooth navigation, I can find any of our assets in a flash. Plus the amount of updates and support they keep pumping out is incredible.

Sometimes when leaving my tab open the page the entire page will break, but its a simple refresh.
