Empowers In-Depth Data Analysis with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the Data Connect feature of Contentsquare. As a data engineer, I appreciate being able to analyze granular data in my own way using tools I feel comfortable with. The granular event data and a good data model with sessions and users are crucial for enhancing my data analysis tasks. Additionally, I've heard that the initial setup is quite easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it's not already possible, creating all the properties and segments in Contentsquare via code so it can be version controlled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentsquare helps analyze customer interactions and report on metrics to improve website design. As a data engineer, I like the granular event data and data model, enabling me to analyze data using tools I'm comfortable with.
Empowered Journey Analysis, Needs Data Integration Clarity
What do you like best about the product?
I use Contentsquare for looking at journeys and understanding friction points. I like the ability to overlay journey analysis on GA4 data, which helps me understand where we can improve journeys. The zoning feature is particularly beneficial for understanding page-level performance. I appreciate being able to analyze clicks on navigation and how they link to revenue. The impact analysis feature is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to decide what we use GA for and what we use Contentsquare for. Our setup wasn’t quite right, so I found it hard to trust the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Contentsquare to overlay journey analysis on GA4 data, understand friction points, and improve journeys. It helps me analyze page-level performance, link navigation clicks to revenue, and utilize impact analysis effectively.
Powerful Insights, Smooth Interface, But Masking Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Contentsquare Live because it's super easy to use when I'm on a website. It's also really quick, and I can click on the Contentsquare Live X extension to see a variety of metrics on that one page.
What do you dislike about the product?
For us, Contentsquare doesn't always work very well on the journey because of masking. So we can't see a lot of the details, and you'd only know what was going on if you knew the journey really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentsquare helps me see what customers are doing, identify areas they're struggling with, and watch session replays to track their actions.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Contentsquare to review customer shopping patterns, which helps measure how effective product list pages (PLPs) and product detail pages (PDPs) are, while identifying customer pain points to improve and meet KPIs. I appreciate that it lets me know where to start and what issues to focus on first, especially when I'm short on time to make changes. The zoning and heatmaps features are what I like most. They speed up finding issues, which is really valuable for me. The initial setup was very easy.

I really appreciate how Contentsquare enables us to get one step further and understand the 'why' behind customer behavior. I value the zoning analysis and impact quantification features the most. Also, the initial setup was very easy.

Working across different markets and websites can sometimes be a challenge to do roll-up analysis. I wish we could combine different markets more easily.

Powerful Tool, Slightly Overwhelming for New Users
What do you like best about the product?
I love how vast Contentsquare is, making it incredibly useful for finding digital insights. It's particularly easy to find out what customers are encountering on the website when they have issues. The session replays are so helpful in identifying issues in customer journeys.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's so much in there to use, but it's a bit overwhelming for someone not used to it. Almost too much information. I think the design could be changed to make it more easy. The names of the modules aren't always easy to understand what they'll show you.

I like using Contentsquare for launching Hotjar surveys, which allows me to directly ask our real users for real-time feedback. It also helps in booking interviews with customers to ask for more detail. I appreciate how it lets me easily learn the why behind what is happening. Additionally, it works great without any issues.

The web-based features are quite intuitive, and I find the session replay, journey analysis, and text string matches particularly helpful. The account teams are really good to work with, and I've had a seamless experience with the web setup. I also appreciate the all-rounded digital experience tools that provide more value for money and app support.

Mobile app - can be improved a lot.
