Perfect solution for generating standard documents
What do you like best about the product?
The generated document is grounded on platform data. Composer allows creating document contents with conditions, leveraging both MS-word functions and platform meta data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The composer doesn't work consistently when the content has tables and merge fields beyond a certain number. Also, there is no clear documentation on compatibility of conga composer with the CLM product it supports. Conga has 'CLM for salesforce', 'Contracts for salesforce' ,'Contracts', 'CPQ for salesforce' and many other products. Can composer work for all products?

Generating document based on different data points.
Poor Admin Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
The classic version allowed us to be able to merge report data from multiple reports into a single document.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Admin documentation is a disaster. With so many similarly named products and a lack of clarity about what product is active and retired, finding an answer on my own is impossible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga is allowing us to merge multiple Salesforce reports into a Word Document for dispersal to users without Salesforce access (and who have no need for Salesforce access) across the org.
Best document generator for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Conga composer is easy to integrate with Salesforce, it runs automatic updates. Worked on projects which use Conga Composer for digital certificate generation of a university and insurance document generation at an insurance company. This includes all levels of documentation involved in insurance process. Conga Composer is comprehensive tool which include reports and queries we can run to extract data on the fly to populate pre defined Microsoft Word files with merge fields. Visibility of these merge fields too can control via conditional if statements. Conga support is also excellent. Support engineers also very knowledgeable and provide prompt support.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of learning needed for successful implementation of the tool

With Conga Composer we can generate dynamic rich documents.
Fast, Easy and Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer implementation was seamless. It's also very easy to create solutions and fetching data through query. We can also formatting to the template which is very important thing for us. The Support people are very friendly and helpful. Our users love to use it in their daily life. Apart from that it's integration with various applications make it feasible and flexible across the platforms and provide dynamic range of applications and their feature to be used with Conga Composer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Template creation part can be a bit tricky in the beginning. However, we understand that if the product is fulfilling all the use cases, it will be a bit complex. Also if user can get a implementation training, it would be great for the beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to generate the document. As it fetches the value directly from salesforce record, it makes out life very easy and template formatting makes sure our branding is done properly. Also it helps us to decrease the reliability on any other document generation product and help us to use features from multiple products from Conga itself. Also our main aim is to working with tables and while working with tables inside a template, Composer provides multiple funcitonalites to work with it, such as repeated data in Word with the help of TableStart, TableEnd and introducing new features like TableHide and ColumnHide.
Conga Composer - A Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer is an excellent tool for creating templates that enable the generation of dynamic content. The community and support resources are very helpful, providing answers to any questions that may arise. Features like solution building, the query builder, and template formatting are all thoughtfully designed, taking into account a wide range of business use cases. From a user's perspective, it is quite straightforward to use. The new increasing features of Conga Composer make it future proof as it's adapting the user needs and requirements and getting evolved by time and technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to say if there is something I don't like about Conga Composer coz there isn't any. Just sometimes I face the template builder UI can be better. Also new functionalities sometime not work as expected but they become better with time and upgrades.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Conga for mainly generating document having dynamic content from the Salesforce. the automation helps users to manage things properly and less chances of mistakes in documents.

The end user view is very simple -- they can follow the steps easily. Also their customer support is always helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes some learning to work the back end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Programs Staff need to send acceptance letters for both training and grants. Conga makes it easier for them to make them personalized and easy to send.
Easy and Robust Document Creation Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer is easy to use and implement. Their customer service has been fantastic and very responsive, I can't say enough good things about them. Anytime I encountered an issue they were quick to help me resolve it. We started slow with using Conga since our initial use case was limited but has since expanded and our team is now using it more frequently. Conga has allowed us to integrate easily with Salesforce and improve our service levels to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Template management I feel could be easier especially when attaching the merge file. I have over a hundred templates currently and growing and every time there is a change that effects multiple templates its can be time consuming to update everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga Composer is allowing us to automate document creation to help improve the message to our customers to ensure effective communication and strategic alignment.

Sometimes it is too slow to generate the template

Fetching records based on the Conga query and then creating a solution to use in the template builder for runtime data

I feel congo composer is the best for document composition and buliding and reliable

Sometimes error due to timeout for a less duration.

It helps to format the documents by giving templates.
Easy to use, extend and tonnes of customization
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing i liked about is how easy it is to create a solution, customaize it using tonnes of parameters provided out of the box. It is so simple yet so powerful. From template creation to data merge to final delivery the whole process is easy to understand both for end users as well as for admins who are designing these solutions. the UI/UX is great and intuitive.
The customer support has been top notch. they are very responsive and able to understand your problem in first attempt without lot of back and forth.
No matter how big your documents are conga composer is able to handle whatever you throw at it and the latency is superb.
Overall the best solution for document automation and generation in the market without any doubt.

What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't see any downsides for conga composer and I am finding hard to fault anything. Probably one thing i could think of is improving data gathering UI through conga queries and have a really nice UI to pull in data from parent-child fields.

Generation of quotes, invoices , agreements helping with our digital transformation and reducing time and increasing productivity for end users and administrators.
