Conga took our salesforce implementation to the next level with seamless and reliable integration
What do you like best about the product?
We frequently used Conga composer and Conga Sign with Salesforce. Nobody notices when something is working perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yet to identify one. We are yet to explore other offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document generation and signing with integration with Salesforce, where information flow is fully automated.

Sometimes the conga app is buggy..so you need to have a workaround

Conga tags for checkboxes, textboxes, mapping fields with the api names, the UI is very much outdated. It is hard to map data from multiple objects

What do you like best about the product?
Conga document generation is most less complex and easiest tool to used and to automate the generation of your document through Salesforce CRM
What do you dislike about the product?
Time Taken and sometimes permission limitation is something which provides resistance in using this tool for layman
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am implementing the solution which enable the user to E sign the document and download the PDF of with approver signed on the document

It is highly recommended tool for those who want to automate document approval and generation with e sign without any manual work on documents
Conga Composer makes document generation real easy
What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer is easy to set up. It gives you enough leverage to start and get going with minimum effort. Conga has real good documentation to walk us through the installation and configuration process. It also gives you enough room to customize your application according to your requirement. You can make it as complex as you can to suit your business. However, the end-user doesn't see this complexity and a single button click does the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some extra features, which might be needed in one module, say, Composer, is not available with the package. Business might have to pay extra for it. Also, a well-organized documentation repository is provided, but its not well indexed as google doesnt reach all the nook and crannies of this repository. Sometimes a simple web search shows that few particular things cant be done, although if someone goes deep into the Conga documentation, they can see that it pretty much possible with Conga. If the customer pays for the composer license, the dynamic-clause-removal-and-addition doesnt come as out of the box. either you will have to bend your back to create it by yourself, or will have to pay extra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used conga to generate user contracts in pdf formats. Previously, we were using heavy coding to implement the same thing. If we needed to change any text in those contracts, we needed to change the coding, which is somewhat hassling. Conga decreased the coding by almost 90% and now changes can be on the fly and without changing the code. It has become user-friendly as it's much faster now and an admin can do the document changes without going too technical.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use custom metadata, settings to store the conga template ids rather than hardcoding in Salesforce apex classes. that will make it easy to deploy and to change on the fly. You can use custom settings by thats getting outdated now

What do you like best about the product?
Sales process was low-pressure. The user interface is easy-to-use, and Octiv's training/onboarding set us up for success from day one. Great company with great people! Proposals are beautiful, and we get great analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
We weren't able to integrate a payment /processor gateway but that has more to do with our current stack than a gap in Octiv's capabilities.

User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Conga is user friendly, even if we train business users they can manage the conga related activities and minimal support of Admin/Developer required.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes more time to load sometimes for developers or Admin during the development which causes performance issues while developing it.

We are generating our own documents with word and XL files.

What do you like best about the product?
Conga is capable of using complex merge fields, which adds so much value to document generation. Highly customizable to fit various business requirements. I haven't found any document generation tool that is more useful than Conga

There is so much functionality that can be utilized, and for someone who is new to Conga, it may feel a bit overwhelming. However, their thorough documentation and customer support are helpful on so many levels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In one of the projects I've worked on, Document generation is the end process for all business units, so it's an understatement to say that it's one of the most vital parts of the solution we built for them. Using Conga saves the business so much time in generating documents.

Review their products and ensure that what they have meets your business needs. But with the wide variety of services that Conga offers, especially on Document generation, it will surely provide solutions to your requirements.

I DIDN'T DISLIKE ANYTHING WHILE WORKING ON CONGA DOCUMENTATION EXCEPT THE TIME PROCESS TAKES TO GENERATE THE DOCUMENT
